14402, Skeletal Harpooner

Hi everyone, I just completed another model for my Razig Army. Here's my 14402, Razig Skeletal Harpooner. It was sculpted by Kevin Williams.

 

I added a flintlock pistol from 14472, Razig weapon pack at his belt. I wanted to try something different for clothes, so I chose a black and blue striped sailor pattern for the shirt. I also painted flames in the eyes sockets and some ols around the brow bones.

I second on the shirt and I really like the yellowish, aged tone of the bone.

Nice work on the eyes. I will have to try it on the next skeleton I paint up. The bone color is great. I especially like the fact you used a lighter shade for the teeth.

Thanks! I had a lot of fun painting the shirt. I gradually going to add freehand on my upcoming work and this model was well suited for practice. I now have the beggar on my workbench on which I continue to practice patterning. I find it an easy way to slowly include this other technique.
