Beagle
They've just doubled the size of their starter sets, there are some tasty deals available now, plus their dragons look really nice.
MonkeySloth
Linkage: http://www.indiegogo.com/drakewargame Now that they have minis actually up this is worth a second look but I feel the $100 minimum buy in to actually play the game is going to be a turn off to many. Members SamuraiJack
They didn't have the sculpts of the dragons lasttime i looked, just concept art. They look nice so far. I agree on the $100 price point. I think they hurt themselves setting the goal at $10k too..
dariustad
The dragons are okay, but what's with the overly long toes/feet? They look more like a cross between a dragon with monkey paws. Plus, I don't know if I could say those kits are really $100 worth of material, despite the size of some of them. I wish the team all the luck possible, but I don't think I'm their target audience. Beagle
I like the look of it and have pledged. I think for $100 9 standard size minis , 4 medium and 1 large (plus assorted other bits and pieces), isn't too bad, plus it seems they'll be increasing the size of the packs with stretch goals rather than adding just additional purchase options. Plus I really like some of their sculpts. I presume the figures will be a mix of resin and metal although as the company is Canadian they may be made from maple sap and therefore edible if heated.....an added bonus? Bumble_B
Ya I found this elsewhere and then saw it here. I posted on another forum my thoughts, so I'll just copy that here. I’m torn. I really want to get into something like this and have always believed something like this was possible and could be successful. Unfortunately I haven’t seen someone pull it of right yet. Everything seems in place but a gameplay walkthrough or a demo game video, perhaps broken up into smaller videos. I need to see this in action before laying down the money, for something that honestly hasn’t been done yet. Few other concerns are the 100 price point for the starter , but I could manage if i believe in it. Also the game using tape measure where I would think something of this type would be more suited for a large grid system of some type, as it already has cards your going to want to keep in your hand a lot too. I just need to be sold with gaming, and while the first video has got my interest, it hasn’t done the job of taking my money. /CrossesFingers Here’s hopin Edited December 8, 2012 by Bumble_B

TheAuldGrump
Well, I like the dragon... Nothing else there really grabs me at all, but I really do like that Red Garrick dragon. Looks like a red should, at least to me. I wish that they had minis to compare these to - I have no real idea as to scale. But, at $50 for the dragon, all by his lonesome... giving this a pass, I think. The Auld Grump
recruittons
Actually, the perk description seems to be different than the graphic. The graphic says that $50 gets you the dragon plus 3 of his troops and a summoned creature of his, their first deck (the "Universe Deck") and 6 d10s Edited December 9, 2012 by recruittons
Members SamuraiJack
One of the updates sayd they can't revamp the levels with people already signed up for them so to look at the project section.
Beagle
Yeah, the descriptions in the right hand column are obsolete, look to the centre panel for the accurate descriptions of what you get. I like the dragons but really like the Rivercrest warriors. Edited December 9, 2012 by Beagle
