Tagging or Name problems

If this is confusing let me know and I'll try to clarify.

In the process of cataloging my minis to Springpad today I was going through the blister cards (yep, I keep them) and found one that reads:

65015: Elise the Witch

The card is a P-65 Heavy Metal card.

When I typed the number into the search it didn't find anything.

When I re-searched I tried just Elise Witch and it came up with:

02869: Elise the Witch

It says it is a Dark Heaven Legends figure.

She could also use the additional tag of "witch".

Not sure if it's anything you all need to be concerned with, but the number on the card doesn't match what is in the online catalog.

Most P-65 models were re-issues of models that had already been available in our other lines, such is the case with this one.

P-65 has been cancelled, and as such removed from our site, so none of the 65xxx Part numbers are searchable anymore.

Our search function searches through names, so we usually do not add as a tag any word that is included in the name field.

Ah, thanks for explaining that. That makes sense.

He was only ever a P-65 model. The Stone Spirit was HUGE. You probably could have bought a dragon for the same price if he was in the regular Reaper metal. As he was, he was $39.99. Found a picture in an old Casketworks. He's approximately 3 inches tall, and 3.5 (easily) wide. And he is SOLID metal.

Thanks for the info. I didn't want him in metal, too heavy! His size sounds perfect for what I need though ::):

Fixed the stuff in posts number 112 to 115 by @ObsidianCrane.

I can tag, but I don't know how hard it would be to add a new category of tag for "Plate Armor" as opposed to just "Plate".

The image for 02090 appears to have been fixed already.

Thanks for the careful scrutiny (and resultant posting).

I was shopping for some paints and I noticed a possible typo (?) in the paint shop.. paint 9036, is text labeled as pale olive but the color image text says swamp green. While paint 9175 is text labeled as swamp green and the color image text is also swamp green. I made my paint order based on the color itself, but this struck me as I was scrolling through.

edit- to whomever saw my original thread I posted thank you for moving it here. I saw this right after I posted and was going back to move it and noticed the thread removed ^_^;

03012: Olivia Musketeer - 03011 has a painted pic of both 03011 and 03012 but 03012 lacks this painted pic

03543: Santa Mousling and Helper - no unpainted pic

03601: Ronnie and Reggie, Zombies - no attribution on painted pic

14026: Nakhti, Nefsokar Captain - should have Egyptian tag (I think Nefsokar should probably be made to show up in an Egyptian search?)

Thanks for adding the "short hair" tag to so many female figures.

I'm sort of going back and forth over the "long hair" tag for males. There is such a tag (with four hits). It might be useful, since most human and halfling male figures have short hair and finding the long-haired ones takes work.

But almost all of the male elf and dwarf figures already have long hair, which would make a "long hair" search for them kind of overwhelming. For elves and dwarves a "short hair" tag may be more useful.

I have not got any "long hair" tags in this post, but there are numerous other possible hirsute tags for male figures.

This fella could use a "sideburns" tag:

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/male%20halfling/sku-up/03369

These are too magnificent not to have a "moustache" tag:

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/male%20dwarf/sku-up/03099

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/male%20dwarf/sku-up/50013

And these ones need a "bald" tag:

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/male%20dwarf/sku-up/02472

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/male%20dwarf/sku-up/02971

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/male%20dwarf/sku-up/02989

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/male%20dwarf/sku-up/14019

Since almost all of the male dwarves and elves have long hair (or hoods or helmets where you can't tell) may I suggest "short hair" tags for the following exceptions:

Hair tag update, after @Pingo:

Added "Sideburns" and "Bald" tags. Thanks.

Made sure that any figures with a "Mustache" tag also have a "Moustache" tag, and vice versa, but I've removed that tag from a few figures that really had beards/goatees. (Did not start a "Goatee" tag.) Thanks.

If you find any other figures missing the "M[o]ustache" tag(s), please mention.

I haven't yet added the "Short Hair" tag to the male elves/dwarves that you found.

I see the point that short hair may be rare among these races, but am not yet convinced how useful the new tag would be.

I've removed the "Long Hair" tag from all figures -- there were just 3 males that had it, and about 12 female figures, some of whom had hair that was a lot shorter than other figures without the tag. (A few female figures do have very long hair, nearly down to the ground, but "Very Long Hair" would still give a hit for a "Long Hair" search.)

There are two hits for "Male Short Hair" ... but they are androgynous figures with both "Male" and "Female" tags!

Searching for "highland" brings up some dragon parts.

Was the Wy'zern once called the Highland Dragon?

... should it have an aka of Highland Dragon?

:upside:

Take a look at:

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/dragon/sku-down/02377 02377: Wy'zern ($24.99) Jason Wiebe

The bits and pieces have the word 'highland' in their description.

***Apologies in advance for the very lengthy list; I was having terrible insomnia, and figured that by doing this, not only could I be useful, but that doing tag searches would be mind-numbing enough to make me sleepy. Happily, it worked. :)

The following could use the "beard" tag, and possibly the "mustache/moustache" tag as well: (note: I forgot until near the end that if a search term is in the name of the mini, that adding a tag isn't needed)

These have the "2h" tag; perhaps changing it to "two-handed", since several of the other minis use this term, and it's more intuitive than "2h" I would think:

Ooh, sorry about the insomnia. I get that too.

I don't think it's a requirement, but I like to include links to the pages of the figures that need attention. It makes life easier for the people who have to deal with the things.

Thanks, @OneBoot.

All of those the bearded dwarves now have the "Beard" tag.

But I didn't give a "Mustache" tag to the guys with beards _and_ mustaches. Beard subsumes mustache, in my view.

Thanks for finding the double "Male" tags. Those guys thought they were more masculine than their peers, I guess. :;):

What's the policy on figures like this one?

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/cloverdash/sku-down/50187

He has a beard, but that moustache is *so* full of personality compared to that little evil goatee that I feel maybe he ought to have a "moustache" tag as well.

He does need tags, by the way, a beard at least and maybe a moustache in recognition of that ... thing on his upper lip.

Mr. Cloverdash (50187) now has tags for his mustache and beard ... and goatee.

A few other figures have a "goatee" tag -- maybe not all for whom it is appropriate, but I think that tagging different styles of beard would be a can of worms.
