For tournament play at Reaper Con you're going to want legal basing. If it's just for a friendly pick up game, most people won't be bothered. Instead of poster tacking on an entire base, just use a piece of cardboard/balsa/sheet metal/etc cut to size.

that could work. I was thinking about creating MDF based 'tournament couplers' that are designed to fit around our non-legal bases to make them legal. Mostly this will only work for bases that are too small, or the wrong shape and still small, enough to fit in the insert. I'm pretty sure I can pull this off.
