smokingwreckage
To improve a game, it is necessary to look dispassionately at the strengths and weaknesses of the game. If, for example, you change from a D10 to 2D6 you are fundamentally dismantling the statistics that underpin the game. Not only is the spread wider, it's gone from flat to bell-curved IIRC. So I'd call that not a "change to improve" but a total gutting. Psyberwolfe's later comments provide a bit more meat. If the game is fun, what makes it fun?
