TollHouseGolem
OK, I really need to finish at least one big dragon this year, so count me in. I have an Ebonwrath that I've been slowly pinning together over the last year, so it's time to finish him. And with any luck, I'll add an old DragonTooth dragon to the mix as well. Sanwah
Ok, I am in...my first ever paint challenge. The painting should be done, it is the photos that will be harder. Edit: Just went through all my unpainted dragons and decided on Bile the Wyvern. Edited January 29, 2013 by Sanwah
Generic Fighter
Well, I might as well give this a Try. I've got about 3 or 4 assembled Metal Reaper Dragons I've hardly touched with a Paintbrush. Also, have a couple of Projects involving some Plastic D&D Minis that might work as well. Both involve Huge sized dragons, so they should be big enough for this, right? Anywho, time to get to work, then. GF
CashWiley
Ok, so I'm officially bummed. I came across a dragon when I was rooting through some old boxes in the basement. This thread came up, and I put it in the back of my mind. Then I thought "Why not, I've had him for decades, may as well slap some paint on him!" Went back down today and uncovered his box...and he's missing a leg, at some point in my moving around the country it was snapped off and the leg portion got lost. Spoiler'd for size. I was looking forward to that! Now he'll have to wait for me to develop some kind of sculpting skills... Anyone know what dragon/manufacturer/etc he is?
buglips*the*goblin
What it boils down to is the challenge should have been named "Here there be Drakes", as drakes are the family which dragons, hydras, wyverns, and wyrms belong to. Well, I'll be putting in the Tak, possibly my RP TSR Wyvern, and some of my KS Bones dracos. Prizes are a nice plus, but really I just think the contests here are fun - and as a rule I don't like contests.
Girot
Replace the leg with an arm from an Incredible Hulk action figure and rename the dragon Trogdor!
Inarah
@CashWiley: Nice dragon. I hope you find the leg for it, I'd like to see that one painted up. It's familiar, but I can't place the maker. Are you going to Reapercon? You can find someone there to make a new leg, I'm sure.
buglips*the*goblin
Anyone know what dragon/manufacturer/etc he is? Doesn't look like he's a Partha, at least not in the references I have (though it does bear a strong familial resemblance to 10-460, Black Draon of Fire & Darkness). However, I'd lay odds he's sculpted by Tom Meier. His feet are almost identical to the way my Takky's feet are done.

Make him a pirate dragon.

No, the base is all wrong. Wiley's dragon has both feet down.
Metalchaos
Anyone know what dragon/manufacturer/etc he is? It's a DS1 Lava Dragon produced by Citadel in 1988.
Nocturne
Good find. Someone is trying to sell one painted but in pieces with a missing jaw for £50 on eBay Although what he describes as the upper jaw is basically most of the head http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITADEL-DRAGON-DS-1-LAVA-DRAGON-INCOMPLETE-/370367153911 Edited January 29, 2013 by Nocturne
ttuckerman
It looks as if the foot would be far easier to sculpt.
