Baugi
Okay... so I have a question. What would something like Ral Partha's Dueling Dragons be considered? It's not really a single, and it's not really a dio...
Inarah
I would consider it, if based, a diorama.
gwangi32
How did I miss this challenge? This is a really great idea. I am going to pull the Tortoise Dragon (DL 02516) out of the waiting area and combined with a few other Reaper figures and try a diorama or at least finish a Dragon before December. CashWiley
Despite me completely forgetting the exceedingly kind gesture one of the wonderful folks here made to repair the dragon I had thought about entering... Started clean-up on Ebonwrath (Bonesy voishun) this evening. So yeah, that's what I'll be up to next month. Or two. WIP will be in the usual spot.
CashWiley
I see you likin', TS. Don't be surprised if it still ends up in your mailbox :p It's been sitting on my kitchen table for months...I can't believe the old lady hasn't asked me why it's there.
Orion2010
Well after sitting here for a while looking at all the goodness of bones dragons, I am still a little undecided on which one I want to try to paint up by the end of the year. However I do know that whichever one I do go with will probably take me until the end of the year to finish, especially if it is that kaladrax model. I am thinking I will probably start on the clockwork dragon and see how it goes. If I am unsatisfied with how it starts out I will change to one of the others. ObsidianCrane
Now that I have my Bones I can probably get going on my dragons a bit more as I can use the simple fast to paint models to hit my 20 model goal and also make progress on the dragons. Though the reality is I'll have to wait until the end of September in reality. All the KS dragons count for this (plus the Jabberwocky) right? (Except the fairy dragon familiar of course.) buckyball
I have had this dragon for quite some time. It is a very old dragon. I wonder what it will look like painted up? I found a book cover that has a picture of this figure It is a very stiff pose. Edited August 15, 2013 by buckyball
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted August 15, 2013 Moderator Share Posted August 15, 2013 Well, I am right on schedule with my sculpt commissions right now, so after the next two are done I might be able to squeeze a dragon in to give myself a breather on the sculpting before the next set. I'm starting to miss painting, not having painted anything since March. I was planning on painting Viridus, but am not sure I want to look at that much green after staring at green stuff so much the last 6 months. Maybe I'll pull a dragon out of my way back machine and do one of my old Genadier dragons. Ooh, I know, I have the old Grenadier White Dragon, I could do it as a double side-by-side with Deathsleet.

ub3r_n3rd
Seeing as the contest(s) are to submit by the end of the year, count me in! I'll have to figure out which dragon(s) I want to paint up, but I love me some dragons so this is just a little extra incentive to paint them up more quickly. Rogue1138
I just might put one or two up for this. Count me in !
klarg1
I finally got off my duff to start painting a Dragon for this challenge. Right now I am working on the Bones Deathsleet I got from the Kickstarter. If I can finish him fast enough, maybe I can go for two before the end of the year. Maledrakh
Sorry I posted this in teh wrong thrad forst by mistake. here goes again: Question: does the diorama have to include the whole dragon?Eg. If the dragon is partially submerged or buried?Or even just a massive head as "smaug vs bilbo" in the hobbit 2 trailer?
