They're going to send out resins to fulfill the changeover I requested a while back. They asked me to send back the metals, but ain't nobody got time for that. I asked them to invoice me at a reduced cost and I'd just keep the duplicates, should hear back from them tomorrow.

 

Having duplicates makes it 1000x more likely I'd paint something :) I've already been eyeing two of them...perhaps Aleksandr and Ludmilla together..

Bah, they only offered me KS pricing for the extra minis. Not sure I want to drop $75 on duplicates. On the other hand, I'm very lazy and don't want to send them back...

Are you sending it back on your dime or theirs?

 

Ya, if they'll cover shipping its not much of anything outside of a minor inconvenience to send back.

 

On another note, just got my stuff in today. Don't even think I've seen finished sculpts for some of the empire stuff I just got in (bikes, mecha and so on).

I had thought about asking them to give it to me in the TGG2 pledge manager, though.

 

Also, it's several of my favorite models from the 1st campaign, soo....I was just hoping they'd hook up a good backer and let them go for cost :)

Got in the resin replacements today. Almost no difference between the resin and metals side by side, other than a few bubbles endemic to resin and a couple weirdly placed gates (but Ed does that sometimes). Maybe I should do a side by side paint job...

 

Still trying to work a better deal than KS pricing on the metals, heh.
