badocter
Is that gem in the scepter real or painted? I can't tell.
Sentient Bean
Thanks! Painted and then I put some gloss varnish on it to give it a bit more of a shine.
joshuaslater
That's one street walkin' kobold with a heart full of napalm!!
Baugi
Ok, I can't seem to find any kind of consensus on this. Are kobolds reptilian or rodents? Scales or hair?
Sentient Bean
I like to think of them as furry, evil dog men. Sort of like a dog-like halfling.
TGP
The Dog-Like but Scaly Kobolds were (AFAIK) the creation of David Sutherland III - one of TSR's illustrators from the early days. The alternative visual to that is from German-Folklore: tiny dwarfs / micro-gnomes / wee little sprites. Brownies by another name. Fur? Not so much. buglips*the*goblin
Ok, I can't seem to find any kind of consensus on this. Are kobolds reptilian or rodents? Scales or hair? They're doglike reptilians, so clearly descended from Targs.
