From the understanding I got from reading at various sources there are a few shipping issues that have created these delays. #3 is the only one currently still an issue.

1) fulfilling other things at the same time, mainly sedition wars.

2) once they had info on the last of their containers coming in they slowed shipping in anticipation of recombining waves 1 and 1.5 to save shipping, the containers then managed to still not appear as quickly as expected.

3) FedEx is only picking up the packages once a week. There have been indications that at least once the truck left without all the packages that were ready at that time. I'm uncertain if it left due to being full or due to an imposed time limit for filling it.

I can't speak directly of FedEx as it's not one of the ones I deal with but as part of my job I am regularly arranging for transportation of IT hardware to and from our various data centres across the UK. In my experience the drivers simply do not care. They just want to load and unload as quickly as possible. Very aggravating when we are paying a courier several hundred or thousand for a very specific level of service and they want to act like a bleeding taxi. The only part of my job I find more annoying is that the team on our side who deals directly with the couriers seem to care even less than they do.

Smartpost should be renamed Slowpost. I have an order for some bases coming from CMoN and the replacement mini Reaper sent USPS got here in a fraction of the time.

People like to bag on the Postal Service, but it's consistently been the best shipping option for me.

Well, thanks to the efforts of my local post office, my Tuesday delivery became a Saturday delivery!

I didn't go in for a ton of extras, but here is the haul...

13.2 pounds of zombie goodness. The bottom plain box seems to be all the bonus zombies unlocked during the KS.

I wasn't going to open any of this yet, but my four year old was going nuts wondering what was in the box. So I bribed him to eat some more of his dinner, then I would open the big box in the living room. We then had a lengthy discussion about how dices is not a word for the little cubes, they are dice. Or die if there is only one. Tiny mind blown.

The wife took the whole box pretty well. Though she immediately started scanning the IKEA catalog... quid pro quo I suppose.

Being Raise the Dead pledge...I can see the reaction if my fiancee is home when the box gets here...actually she won't say anything, it'll be 'the look' that says 'why do you have three more games!?'.

I know the look...but didn't start getting it until we were married a year.

I didn't pledge for the Toxic Mall box, only Prison Outbreak and a bunch of extras.

I've got to start playing some of these games before I buy too much more.

My habit serms to be: open 'em up stare at the minis, read the rules, think how cool ths is, put back in the box, pull out 10 years later, and say, "crap, i should paint these and find somene to play the game".
