Zombicide: Toxic City Mall

Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention, but I never realized till I opened the box of companion dogs that one was an American Bulldog! I used to have an American Bulldog, he was a great dog. He had to be put down when he was two due to a spinal problem that could have been due to genetics (rarely) or an injury incurred while out gallivanting one night when he got out of the back yard (likely).

I'm pretty sure one of the AB minis will be painted like my dog, Shiner. Here are a couple of pics of him at 19 months.

He was a smart dog and a good catch dog. Catching wild hogs is what these dogs are typically bred for in the southern US. He'd catch anything that ran or that I asked him to; cats, other dogs, my step kids. Never broke the skin on anything, he'd just drag it to the ground. He'd grab the kids by their belt loops and toss'em in the grass. Even the kids had fun, so it wasn't abuse, I promise!

Suddenly I feel like posting this might make me look a little redneck.

I didn't pledge for the Toxic Mall box, only Prison Outbreak and a bunch of extras.

I've got to start playing some of these games before I buy too much more.

My habit serms to be: open 'em up stare at the minis, read the rules, think how cool ths is, put back in the box, pull out 10 years later, and say, "crap, i should paint these and find somene to play the game".

I hope you did that with the DOOM boardgame, I hear that's worth a lot now lol.

I got my Zombiecide shipping notice, info went to FedEx on Thur. but it still didn't move yet. :/

My wife doesn't quite know the cost of these things nor does she really ask, which is good as she's none the wiser when I get 3 boxes from Mierce. However, she does know roughly how many I have which is a problem.

1) Get a cupboard

2) put shelves in all the way to the top with 10cm head room between all shelves

3) make trays for the shelves

4) Unbox, base and undercoat ALL your miniatures (those are no longer "Unpainted miniatures")

5) store miniatures in trays

You can store many 1000's in a relatively small space.

:)
