Woohoo!

Just arrived home from work to find a big and surprisingly heavy box from CMON waiting for me. :bday:

Looking forward to opening it up and checking out some Prison Outbreak goodness after a quick bite to eat.

Sadly I had to pass up The Toxic Mall expansion, but I should have my doggies and some addon survivors in there too. ::):

EDIT: Yay! Opening my box and I got my dogs and zombie dogs, the stretch goal bonus zombies, the 1st shipment survivors with zombie versions, bonus dice and cards, my Prison Outbreak boxed game, my Toxic City Mall boxed ga... Oh oh.

Well, that explains why the box was surprisingly heavy.

You are aware this is the Toxic City Mall thread, are you?

In the moment I'm planning to paint my Zombies in Pale versions of normal skin tones + little nectrotic flesh color and little bluish red for the livor mortis.

Toxic Mall Zombies I will paint the same and the bubonic parts in green and some in purple.

About the Berzerks Zombies I'm not sure. The color of the clothes will be in orange.

I like the shooting into melee rule. Instead of just barging through the map, it makes you think a bit and use some strategy.

Shooting in Melee and Car Damage must be risky, but I do not like the rules how they solved it. I will check how I can change it, without making it to complicated and still risky.

What I do not like about the Car Damage is, that the car make 1 point damage and you must kill first survivors. Hey, is it really necessary to drive twice over a survivor?

It is sad that there is no chance to jump aside.

Did you have opportunity to use the 'shooting into melee' rules?

I want to paint my minis too, but I'm not sure how to prime them. In other games with plastics I used to spray paint them but this left the miniatures sticky, even after fully painting them with acrylics.

I know, there are threads about priming Bones around here that may address these issues; one day I may find the time to read those. :;):

I had no problem with Army Painter White Primer on the Survivors and Zombivors. On the Zombies I will test soon the necrotic flesh primer.

One of the heroes I painted without primer without problems. I used vallejo and reaper paints.

So I've had this for a month now and so far haven't had a chance to actually play it... On the other hand the cat has somewhere between 50-100 hours of play time in on the shipping box (I added the 10 cent super ball expansion) it came it. Money well spent?

So... the nerds are raging. Apparently there are some survivors whose XP tracker do not have the numbers on the track. Notably the 'mustache pack' characters. Being allowed to download corrected cards or being given the suggestion to 'pen in' some numbers doesn't seem to be helping on the Facebook comments. I get the inconvenience, but I'm not sure I'd be demanding a complete reprint just yet... sheesh.
