Ashen Brown has shown back up in the HD line, I'm pretty sure. MSP HD 29831.

I really miss Antique Rose. I don't use pinks often, but when I do, it's hard to find others that aren't glaringly bright.

The Olive Drab triad is still in print.

The colored liners were replaced by 9235, 9236, and 9237, which are the liner colors mixed in a regular paint base.

If you want a replacement for Cloud Pink, look at Punk Rock Pink in the Kickstarter Chronoscope colors set, available later this year.

29838 Stained Olive is a close equivalent for Troll Shadow. I love that color too much to let it go. :;):

Also: Clear Orange can be replaced by Lava and Explosion Orange, Clear Viridian has a much superior substitute in Peacock Green, and Clear Plum could be subbed with 9240 Royal Purple. Also, as noted elsewhere, the Redstone triad is better version of the Terracottas.

9081 Pale Indigo = mix equal portions of Imperial Purple and Sky Blue

9112 Red Liner - Reaper 9235

9114 Violet Liner - Reaper 9237 = these are both very dark brown, almost Walnut, with a faint hint of color to them. I just use Brown Liner.

(Spring Greens Triad 9749)

9145 Moth Green - Reaper 9248

9146 Spring green

9147 Luminous Green = these 2nd two are virtually indistinguishable from each other and only a hair lighter than Moth. Putting a drop of white into a bottle of Moth will get you close. No point trying to reproduce these.

Also, if you are looking for something close to Antique Rose, Old West Rose from the Kickstarter is an acceptable substitute for that color. It'll be released later this year. ::): And you might try Aircraft Grey as a sub for Icy Grey, though it also has a touch of green. But still, a cooler grey. Also from the Kickstarter. Those IMEF colors are actually quite awesome...

I think they are working on it (the Grey) at this time. In two orders recently I received paint sample freebees that were a light blue grey.

I'll check out this Old West Rose.

I'm quite excited by both the new KS paint sets.

You know that thing that some of you do where you make those of us that missed the KS very, very upset? ::(:

My apologies, it was not my intention to upset anyone.

What, you mean where we talk about how super awesome it was and how much we're looking forward to all of the things we're getting in a month or two?

...I figure that's enough salt, vinegar, and lemon juice rubbed into your wounds to count as a marinade. ::):

It really sucks that you missed it, but on the bright side things will be available for retail soon - and you'll have your eyes open the next time Reaper goes "a Kickstarter... I wonder how that'll work..."

If it's any consolation, I am a paint fiend and had to deny myself the KS paints. I told everybody it was because I already had enough paint, but that was a cheap lie. It's really because everything else ate my money.

Can never have too much paint.

Something a little different for a WIP. I’m building spinner racks for my paints and tools. There will be a 6” and 5” diameters that will hold 8 paints per level. The Tool  spinner will have a single level with 1/2” holes and hold 16  tools,  paints will get separate spinners for my Oilbrushers ( one level 3/4” hole, 8 brushes), dropper bottles will get three levels with 1” holes (8 paints per level) and the 6” spinner will be for the big bottles ( 1 3/8” inch holes, 8 per level) with three levels.

Hopefully this will help my chaotic workspace stay a bit more organized.

this is the 6” spinner with the holes drilled, except the center, and ready for the bandsaw.

Does anyone know what the closest match to dirty grey is out of the currently available paints? I'm kind of on my last little bit of it, and I used it on a bunch of stuff that I'll likely need to get close to matching in the future.

So my niece is turning 13 next month. She already has a huge interest in minis and loves to paint with me. I'm trying to build her a kit or care package for her birthday so we can video chat and paint together. I'm at a loss as to what to put in it though. She has a ton of minis I gave her and a few brushes but I want to get her like a full starters kit of sorts (paint, better brushes, brush soap, etc.). I'm already considering the first LTPK. What would you put in it for someone just starting out?

Hi!! my name is Katerina and I'm new to painting miniatures, I begun
with a miniature from NonSenseminiatures, the Barbarian, I buyed the
54mm because it's bigger and maybe easier to paint.
I asked some help to NonSense and he already made a base coat for me, I
would like to get some help for painting because I see too much
information and don't know were begin.
I already make painting but totally different
Also he gave for me a discount code Katerina10%, because he will sell my
      paints also!!!

Hi all, quick question what are some paints you would like to see from reaper?

I would like to see a line of effect paints, such as a few different rust effects, something for a running oil or grease, and a very flat black for soot build up.
