dwarvenranger
This thread is making me want beer, but it's far too cold out there for me to go anywhere. It's cold. Real cold. White Dragon Breath cold. In here is beerless, but warm. Warmth wins. This is one of the differences between dwarves and goblins. In our halls we have warmth and beer. And ale. Sometimes mead. Also usually whiskey. Oh and we have sanitation too.
CashWiley
At irregular intervals, a bunch of the New England area painters get together for a paint day, sometimes at a store, sometimes at someones house, to paint, talk and occasionally have a few frosty beverages. If the stars (aka budget) align and it's on this side of NE (I'm in the middle of NY), that could work for me. I live in a cultural wasteland.
Dilvish the Deliverer
Didn't Dargrin host the last one? That's the last one I went to. Not sure if there was another one that I missed while I was deployed. I figure I'll host the next one as there hasn't been one in CT for a while. Not sure when as while I don't go to sea, I have been doing a bunch of traveling. Once I figure out what my schedule looks like I start a topic. Arachne
There are so many individual posts I want to quote and reply to here. Mentions of favorite beers, anything Buglips says, etc etc. I'm just going to come right out and say I've betrayed you all. I'm brainless on margaritas right now.

I don't need mind-altering supplements to get brainless! *knocks hollowly on head* All natural, baby. All natural. Empty as the day I was born. Loim
Just discovered this thread. I love beer. Usually dark, or amber. Sadly most of my favorites are seasonal. I like Sam Adams Octoberfest a lot. Pumpkin ale is my all time favorite. Newcastle Werewolf is really good. My fall back brews are 1554, Newcastle, Hobgoblin, and Buffalo Sweat.
Arachne
When Pumpkin Ale season comes back around, do yourself a favor and seek out Southern Tier's Pumking. It's the best of the best. It doesn't taste like pie and spices, but a warm, brown sugar squashy appeal. My all time favorite, and highly rated.

Arachne
Dude. I hate pumpkin beer too. And most other ghastly pumpkin confections, but for real, Pumking understands us.
chaosscorpion
Lambics are always a respite from the usual ale, lagers and pilsners. I myself am a huge fan of Sam Adams, Wheat Beer, Samuel Smith, Victory Brew Co. as well. One my favorites was Thomas Hardings. I have 5 bottles of the 1996 lagered. I am looking to start opening them in 2016; one each year until alas they would be all gone.
brushforhire
I am a total beer snob. My wife got me the best V-day present ever: A 4-pack of Young's Double Chocolate stout in the cans, and a random 4-pack of craft beers. I was actually very impressed. Young's is probably my favorite. I do love just about anything super dark. Also do enjoy Delirium Tremens, Magic hat, and a few other lighter colored beers. I'll take a coffee stout anyday, too.
