How many of you plan to rebase your Vampire pledge level minis?

If you're rebasing your Vampire pledge minis, what do you intend to use?

If you're wondering why I ask, I hope you'll consider...

... we're trying to fund raise for a set of bases and made a specific bundle called the Vampire Bundle which nets you 260 bases (you'll have a few extras, for your 240 minis) for $50. If you're interested, check this objective out here - http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dungeoncrawler/dungeon-crawler-fantasy-miniatures/posts/448053

If we can raise 80 wishlist sets, we'll open up paypal and get these made with our KS minis at the same time. :)

Greyhaze, I registered for your forum, just waiting on approval. I'll take a set of the 260 bases. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to spend the $50 I raised my kickstarter pledge by though.

Yes I am rebasing, always seeking the cheapest possible base.

Small Critters: Pennies

Medium Creatures: 1"

Metal washers for wobbly models

Learning Resource Counters for the rest since those are 400* for $8.99

*bag says 200, but they can be split: basicmath.jpg

Large { but not that large] Creatures: 1.5" like earlier DDM Large creatures

Poker chips, cheap ones.

Metal washers

Large Creatures 2"

Metal washers

Nylon Washers

Wizkids Mech bases

Huge Creatures 75mm

Canned food lids

Many hand held can openers cut from the side, just below the rim. many canned vegatables and other foodstuff lids are 75mm across. I file down any burrs, and have a unlimited supply of bases for huge monsters. Practically free, if one occasionally eats canned food..

In answer to your question ... a bunch have discussed it here: Basing all those Bones Kickstarters.

Within the thread, some are using plastic tiles (myself), others are using washers, Hirst molded bases, Clix bases as well as the usual sources of bases.

I think someone even mentioned your kickstarter.

I like the idea of your kickstarter but I have a ton of minis coming and the bases I purchased and listed in that thread were reasonable and cover a large majority of what's coming and what I have already.

I'm re-basing my regular-sized ones with basic 25mm square bases from a local supplier.

There's a lot of options out there, some seem like more work than others. That jar of 400 tiles is actually a pretty cool product. :)

That car... why do I keep picturing a rainbow explosion during a collision... wow.

I didn't do the math on singles price for the bases yet, looks like $0.19ea (shipping included with the KS pieces) or can be done separately.

I'm collecting bases for many of my models on Thursday, then it will be more basic squares for the majority of them due to the afore mentioned need to proxy for Warlord.

We just had some huge news this morning from Fat Dragon Games! They have offered to give our backers a free copy of the build-it-yourself SEA DRAGON! :sweet:

Now your Kraken can get pesky adventurers to do battle with it on the high seas! Anyone that backs us for a Kraken gets this PDF included.

Seeing as there wasn't a thread yet, I wanted to share another project that just hit Kickstarter, "DEPTHS OF SAVAGE ATOLL"

It's a great project I was happy to be involved with, doing some of the FDM print testing.  Everything looks great and prints well!
