I kinda liked the idea of doing some criminal gang skirmishes, so my addons are:

Street Thugs

Chinese Tong

Masked Thugs

Men of Hell Division

Bedlam Brotherhood

(I can see many of these also useable for RPG purposes; Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Solomon Kane, Cthulhu)

Then I also have an extra £20 in which will go to a Gentleman's Coach (for WFRP), The Clickers, or one of the original boxed sets... or something else.

My base 35+5 pledge I'm also kind of back and forth on, but I'm thinking Bobbies #1, Gentlemen with guns, Nemesis criminals, maybe Baker Strett or Vampire slayers, and then a bunch of the singles. Or something entirely different.

I'm hoping the survey/pledge manager/whatever will be held off for a while until we have more sculpts and have had the rules PDF in hand for a while.

I went for everything other than the vehicles, the steam knight and the servants.

My intention is to run an expanded League of Extraordinary Gentlemen campaign. Initially starting with London's bobby's up against all sorts of supernatural nasties, but then boosted by the League and additional characters. The only blocker at the moment is my gaming club's lack of suitable urban Victorian scenery.

My plan was to pick up 2, maybe three factions, some bobbies and such from the Requiem section, and some gyrocopters and exo-skeletons.

Then, last week, after a night where I had 3 hours sleep spaced out around 4 calls from work, I think I critically failed a will save...

Victorian terrain is definitely something I'm going to have to look into now too.

I'm hoping some of the WW1 and WW2 guys at my local gameclub have some buildings that are British in style.

i might get a 4x4 zuzzy flagston paven mat ..i got the Scourged Forest one which i need to paint up once the weather is warmer.

that might be good enough for a London street map and any medieval city setting

So, shipping is set to start next week.

That's finally motivated me to start really reading the existing rules and throwing together a few proxy factions to get a basic handle on everything.

Not that I'll be near the beginning.

Which is good since I still need to build a table to play on and get some terrain together.

I received a box in the mail marked toy soldiers. I opened it up and it is my Empire of the Dead reward. They missed the June delivery by a fair bit, but when you hit 1856% of your goal, that's not too surprising. I am overall very happy with the minis, they are very well made and for the most part quite close to the concept art.

There were a few disappointments though. Frankenstein's monster counted as two points and came with a large base, but it was the same size as the other figures, and significantly smaller than Mr. Hyde. It is a nice looking mini, but if I knew the size I would have made a different pick. Dr. Jekyll didn't turn out very well. In the concept art, he is looking at a test tube he is holding up at eye level as if he was holding it up to the light to check a reaction. The mini however, whilst it is still holding up the test tube quite high, his head is looking nowhere near the tube, the effect is odd. In the Vampire Slayers set, the lost love has a very different pose. In the concept art she is hitching up her skirts, looking like she is about to run. Instead, she has her hands clasped in front of her. As a result, her skirts are hanging down and the front of her dress looks quite bland. It is a shame, because otherwise, it is a really nice design, she has quite voluminous skirts, from the back her dress is much nicer.

Still, these are overall some great looking minis. They are on the larger size, about the same size as Reaper minis. Standouts for me are Great Uncle Thulu, Iron Head Ned, and the Invisible Man, who has holes in his face and chest to create the illusion of invisibility. He should look fantastic painted up. Another big plus is there were no missing minis or pieces, though I had to poke around in the bubble wrap to find a couple limbs. And for some reason the put two of the Nadezhda Durova mini in my box.

I'd read some discussions on the Monster recently on the KS comments, but hadn't heard anything about the other two. I'd really need to go look at the concept art (which I can't do from work) as I really can't remember either fig.

All I've really seen is some unboxing videos and some nice pictures of the Clickers, which look awesome. Oh, and I saw some shots of the Bedlam Brotherhood too.

I'm still waiting on mine, which isn't that surprising based on my pledge...

I never interpreted the Lost love the same way as Suden, the concept just made it look like she was standing, arms resting at her side. Haven't gotten my stuff yet but my biggest disappointment is the LE Nadezhda as she looks nothing like the concept art.

They should be done with the 35+5 levels this week so I'm hoping mine ships before the end of the month.

received mine today..really really love the sculpts..but ya the monster is to small for a 2 credit piece.

i think these are more 25 to 28mm tho..I find them quite abit smaller then reapers stuff that I have, about same scale as the blackwater gulch figures

..

heres four of them with tsuko and laurana from the LTPK..dracula and a bride and the second is the monster and Prof. Cavor

Woohoo, my parcel is shipping out tomorrow.

My only concern is that it's,umm, too heavy to go Royal Mail (ok, I may have added on a "few" things through the store...a couple of times....) so they are shipping UPS. Hopefully that won't result in too many extra charges on this end...

Still, can't wait!

ya i got the Halloween bug from these..had to put aside dain in the LTPK thread and see if I can't get one of these finished for Halloween.

I was going thru them and there's so many good candidates..but then I thought..how can I pass up Zombie Holmes and Zombie Watson?

I mean ..is that Heart in Holmes' hand a clue..or a snack?...
