Everytime I go back and look at this KS page, I'm a little more tempted. Perhaps the madness is setting in?

I have one biggish problem though, the size. I have a 40k Reaver Titan that is pretty big. It lives in a box in the closet as it is too big to do anything with. I'm not sure what I'd do with something this big. On the other hand, being so big makes it extra cool. I'm very torn.

Does anyone have any personal experience with trollcast? I've seen the name tossed about, but I've never held a trollcast mini in hand. The stuff must be pretty cheap if he can send something this size out with a $150 pledge.

Overall it is a very impressive sculpt. Kudos to the sculptor for not being stingy with the scales! But it is a shame the wings are on the small side. It is not an unreasonable sculpting choice though, since its graven images had understated wings in the original story and that It swam after rather than flew after the Alert.

I'll probably try extending the membrane on my copy.

Sell it. Don't be shy about letting it be known it is up for sale. Look at ebay to get an idea what it could go for. Do some math to figure out if painting it would be profitable vs the value for your time. Sure some stuff is cool to have, but if something is collecting dust, is limited use and you don't plan on giving it to your kids, sell it.

It's already painted very nicely. I'd let it go in a heartbeat, but it would be an expensive pain in the rear to ship.

Man, this thing is calling my name. I guess if I get off my butt and unload the FW Heresey marines I've been meaning to put on ebay I'd have the cash to pay for this after the fact...

EDIT: I caved. Come August I'll be embracing the madness...

Interesting. I wonder how they got in front of Imbrian? Thanks for the link!

Also, I think I knew that Ed was in St. Louis, but never really wrapped my head around that. Sounds like his new place will have a store front. I'll have to seek him out when he gets settled.

It could simply be that this was supposed to be their spot all along. Mythos Foundry may well have planned ahead to secure this time, and since it's much smaller than the other notable Trollforge projects it's still within their orignal parameters.

Or maybe they just sent Ed a giant chocolate easter bunny. Who knows.

I'd guess they got in front of Imbrian because Jody pulled away from TrollForged. But how it got in front of other projects is certainly a mystery.

Maybe Ed is a big Cthulhu fan?

More likely this.

Or both.
