I just got a shipping notice, it looks like they are finally starting to ship international orders.

Likewise. YAY!

Sweet.  You both Battlecry level?  Haven't received mine yet (Showdown).

Is there tracking, and do we know yet if they are using USPS?

They've never mentioned what they are doing for customs declared value on these split waves, have they?

My wave #1 shipped on Tuesday. It left Michigan at about 4:00am on Nov. 18th which means it would have arrived at the local UPS depot between 10:00am and Noon the same day.

I still don't have it. Did I mention that UPS depot is in Buffalo, NY?

Wanna borrow my Tauntaun?

I'm 10 units in on assembly so far and I love the models. The detail is great, and the assembly isn't as bad as I feared given the reviews out there from the first backers to receive stuff.

Of course it's hard to be anything but ecstatic when i've got little veritechs in my hands.

Yeah I have a fair number built and they are growing on me. The only major issue I had was that on the scout pod (the one with the big wing antenna on the top) many of the little sensor antenna gizmos did not really seem to fit at all to the spots on the body. Those parts are pretty dang small as well which makes it a challenge to reshape them to fit in the holes better.

The arms fit on some of the battroid (sp? the standing valkyrie) is a bit iffy as well especially on the option to get both hands holding the gun but manageable with some trial and error dry-fitting.

Yes. Actually, it wouldn't help now. The package is on the move (in the wrong direction). According to tracking, it escaped Buffalo and found its way to what I assume is a refugee camp for packages in Syracuse, NY.

At first I wondered why they didn't just leave it in Buffalo and wait (the package is going to Niagara Falls, NY). Then it occurred to me: with the flooding they're expecting as the temperature climbs into double-digits over the next few days, they might have cleared out part of the warehouse to avoid damage to packages.

The other thought that came to me is that since Niagara Falls is basically snow-free, maybe they're going the long way around Lake Ontario. It seems woefully inefficient, but perhaps a company like UPS has a policy that if weather keeps shipments from moving for (x) number of days they seek out an alternate route.

In any event, My mini mecha have gone from being ~20 miles away to being ~160 miles away, so unless that's a racing tauntaun I guess I'll just keep waiting. Mind you… I AM kind of cold…

How come I can't seem to quote?

What I did for the recon regult was to cut the plastic of the antenna slot on the pod so it was flat horizontally. It didn't look perfect, but it fit.

Also the legs for regular regults suck. You can't make it look like they are just standing. The best pod legs are on the missle and scout regults, so you may want to switch up legs with them. Also the regular regult pod pod halves don't go together smoothly, the best thing to do is cut a bit off of the top of the circular section of the bottom of the pod.

Another thing I noticed to be careful about are the destroid legs. On the same frame, one set of legs has foot peg slot going sideways and the other going front to back. And of course you can make a mistake and join a sideways leg half to a front/back leg half, making it so neither foot will fit in it.

I wonder if they will ever fix the issues with some of the frames sometimes down the road. Not to mention they could with some adjustment make a few less parts. There was no need to make the legs be in 2 halves for the destroids.

My friend got his recently... that's a lot of parts! He gave me a bag and asked me to try a few. They are much smaller than I expected.

They are both bigger and smaller than I expected. I was sorta thinking they were 1/285 like Btech. I think this is inline with Robotech though? The Zentradi mechs were somewhat larger than the humans?

Kinda rough looking up close due to the sanding and what clean up I have tried to do on the seams but here are some of mine built up:
