redambrosia
haha! It looks epic! If you didn't live on the wrong side of the country (and well, not w/i 20 minutes of me) I would offer to put it together for you, or help you put it together. I love putting things together
buglips*the*goblin
What a coincidence, I love taking things apart! You'd be surprised how many things still work even with 20, maybe 50% of the components removed and misplaced. (this, however, does explain why goblin aviation remains a primitive effort) I salute your new desk with a raise of my coffee mug, Argentee! The tyrannical reign of the TV tray is at an end!
Corporea
whoo! You should start a WIP of the desk!
Tranquil Ape
omg im so jealous... while i am lucky to have a largely unused room for my modeling / painting... the only desk i had available at the time was that of a child's size. I can't even sit at it normally... its a tiny bit too small
Thrym
The cardboard finish seems a little off putting but I imagine it works as efficiently as any blotter. Styrofoam legs? LOL Congrats on getting a new desk. I have a Workbench but still spend time on the folding TV table. That reminds me. I better get back to work on the Workbench.

Dadcubed
Well. The box has arrived. However, if the box of desk is treated as a box of miniatures it may not see completion for several decades. Just a quick opening, handle the parts, stuff them back in the box and off to procure another new shiny desk! ;)
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted March 4, 2013 Moderator Share Posted March 4, 2013 IMG_0927.jpg ... Some assembly required. Very nice! How many desks did you order? Cause, y'know, ordering multiples of anything miniature related is what all the kids are doing these days.
Thrym
Well. The box has arrived. However, if the box of desk is treated as a box of miniatures it may not see completion for several decades. Just a quick opening, handle the parts, stuff them back in the box and off to procure another new shiny desk! ;) Following that logic, Argentee would have to place the box in a drawer or on a shelf of shame. Then go buy more desks to add to the ever growing pile. In my universe until about a year ago that would have equated to one desk assembled every other month and every four months add 4-10 desks to the pile. buglips*the*goblin
Yes, well, it's not like it matters. After all, the maximum number of desks anybody can accumulate is precisely the same maximum as paints, or figures. Twenty.
Thrym
I thought the answer to that, like the answer to anything else, is... 42.
CashWiley
I probably shouldn't admit I already have three desks. If you don't count my two workbenches in the basement...
Thrym
Well, I actually have 5 desks. 3 are on my shelf of shame. I really need to get to work on all these desks. Edited March 5, 2013 by Thrym
