Dresden Files/The Hollows Casting Call

For no other reason other than boredum I invite you folks to pitch your suggestions for the major cast members of the book series Dresden Files and The Hollows here in this thread, but using Reaper minis!

EDIT: Okay we can do a movie cast too. Arachne just HAD to mention Nathan Fillon as Dresden. I love that idea so much I probably won't sleep tonight.

If I was REALLY dedicated I'd convert the crap outta this guy. The broom could easily be finished off as his staff, though I'd probably make it a hocky stick to pay homage to the TV series (I always loved that idea). The flashlight could easily be made into his blasting rod. The head will just have to be swapped and his hair/hat properly sculpted.

Butters: I could swap the neuralizer for a hand w/ clipboard (already have the bit) and convert that pistol into a bone saw. I'd also add the blood/guts rubber apron to hit that Coroner thing home, lol.

 

Dresden: Outstanding find!! Clip the hands at the ends of this sleeves and do a super easy swap out for a staff on one side and a pistol in the other!!

Here's my vote for Molly, since we're converting. I'd take out that gun, and put in a wand, or some kind of spell effect, I'm thinking of her "portable rave" with a little explosion or something, if it's doable. She's kinda edgy, and I love the pose of this piece.

I'd considered this for Molly. I'd probably add more clothing and definately get rid of that gun and paint her up with a lot of angry punk-goth themes (good call on that). This would definately have to be pre-Rag Lady Molly.

Well most of the time she's just in the stupid hooded robe.. the rest of the time she's batcrap crazy.. seemed like a good middle ground.. edited original for movie casting

I know, I know, Reaper Miniatures, but I would definitely not cast Fillon in the roll of Dresden. I would go back and beg the original actor that played him in the series to do it. That guy had Dresden nailed.

EDIT: Thinking about it I think she could pull of Ceri really REALLY well. She looks elfish and can do "explosive bipolar"... which also works for Ivy. Damit.

Fillian's too pretty. He can get girls. Harry never can. Blackthorne did tall and geeky reasonably well, I wouldn't mind seeing him again. Nearly anyone you're going to find in Hollywood is going to be too good looking to play Dresden, though.
