I had a friend who commissioned me to paint his warhammer elf army about 9 years ago. He owned the nearby FLGS and offered to pay me in all the paint I wanted, within reason. Unfortunately all the elves were pretty much the same, with a unique general. Painting tons of the same mini in the same pose was really, really boring...

I know what you mean I hate painting duplicates!

I didn't like nudes, once. Thought they were the dullest things ever to paint.

Then I attended my first ReaperCon, and realized that I wasn't actually painting them... I was just applying fleshtone!

This has to be one of the most boring minis I have ever painted.Got tired of him looking at he so i finished him. Redid basically the whole thing in under an hour. At least I got to practice my NMM. What is the most boring mini you have ever painted

You know, back before eBay I was desperately trying to find that dude to use as my character Samnos. Couldn't find him anywhere. Probably just as well, he got driven mad by mind spores.

Skeletons.

God, yes. Despite having an affinity for them, 18 drained me. Looks cool having them all together, though. I always wanted a skeleton horde, and now I have one.

Some of Reaper's own lizardfolk bore the piss out of me. Used to love the idea of lizardmen, but I've thankfully acquired a more diverse interest.

There's this one sculpt that's got a boxturtle shell as a shield, is crouching, and raising a bone over his head as if to fend off a blow. I hate that little bastard, and the one that has seashells hanging from his leather belt and who's using a stick with a jaw bone tied to it as a weapon makes me red with rage.

I also dislike the 'lizardman tyrant' army packs, but they're a bit more excusable.

That is too funny. I hate doing armies too!
