I was hoping I could get by with the liquid gs I have but we will have to see, I noticed that my lfgs has packs of gs in stock so at least there's that for when I give up.

I think that you will find the traditional GS easier to use for this project. If you want it very soft then you can put it in boiled water and it goes very soft indeed!

 

Looking forward to updates on the pointy bit.

I messed around for a bit and arrived at sculpt I was passably happy with from the Lgs so I smoothed primed and painted it, planning on updating the wip later tonight.
