I figure at this price, I could turn them them over to the four month old in a year for building blocks...or a unique setting for sedition wars...probably not a great setting for my old West or Napoleonic's though ;)

Oh wait, I guess I will need a place for all the KS Bones to live...my wife is going to be irate ;)

No idea how I'm going to be using these either. Haven't played a game that would use them in more than a decade. I think it's just easy to spend money and imagine that I'll spend more time gaming than I realistically will. With the clock ticking down though I need to decide between 3 sets and 2 add-ons that I won't likely play with or 5 sets and 2 add-ons that I won't likely play with... decisions decisions.

This seems eerily familiar...

i agree id really like the free standing walls but i dont think its going to make it to 1.65 in just one day but i can always hope

With two new add-ons and they have already exceeded $150K today, I'm sure they will hit the next goal.

I am in this for 2 sets. I have also backed the Itar's Workshop for a set of that and some of their addons. I plan to start DMing some dungeon delves soon. Do you think that these will be enough to run 3-4 hours of dungeon delving at a time or should I be looking at buying some more pieces? Any advice? I'm tempted to get the dungeon dressing add on but I think I've already got most of these types of items through the Itar's Workshop addons. I'm also tempted to get the floor pack add on because I really like the downward stairs but I don't think I can justify the price just for that and I got some extra floors in the other kickstarter too. I wish I knew someone nearby that might want to go in together and split a 10 piece set but sadly I don't. I guess I wondering if there is anything that you think I'll be kicking myself later if I don't get it now.

Quite tempting. Got one group member backing this, I have some Hirst arts molds getting ready, but I am still tempted by this to get a 5 pack of my own . The durability is making it very hard to resist, to say nothing of the time it will take to cast the equivalent in Hirst blocks, and of course selling / gifting by the KS set should be easy enough.

Only thing saving my wallet is the wait till October and that the blocks are rectangular blocks, which gives me grade school flashbacks.

im in it for 10 sets which means with all the stretch goals ill have about 15 sets in all thats why i really want another good mini KS ill be able to build a HUGE dungeon like one of the levels of undermountain from the 2nd ed boxed sets i also really want the chamber of sorrows but i cant spring for the painted version and i cant get an answer on whether or not the unpainted version is going to be limited edition like they say on the website cause on there they say the painted version will only be offered to KS backers and not again so ive been wondering if the unpainted version is the same or if it will be offered later

I did some math and a ten set and several add-ons1 would give you enough to cover a 4x6 table. I was bummed until I remembered the largest structure we had explored to this point was less than 1/4 that size. That will do it well!

1 -1 Corner Curve Pack, 2 Floor Pack, 1 Chamber of Sorrows; 1 Castle Wall Pack

You could save some money if you also imagine that'll have more time to paint them than you realistically will :)

I think that's what a lot are doing.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.

I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.

Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
