Is anyone else succumbing to Bonechosis?

So, since the start of the month I've been obsessively checking the forums for news on the Bonenami. I've been checking here, on the Kickstarter page, on Dakkadakka, and the forum where I first heard of the Kickstarter. I've ordered figures from Reaper so I'll have something to do, which lead to ordering the Learn to Paint Kits to get some paints ahead of the oncoming wave, just so I'd have something to distract myself. I'm constantly hitting F5 waiting for news that shipping has started, or that Bryan has been crushed under an avalanche of Kaladraxii, or that the Vampires have arisen from the warehouse crypt and are wrecking havoc with the Reaper staff as they prepare for the mammoth task of shipping.

And it's getting worse the closer we get to the end of the month. Is this just me, or is the suspense getting to other people as well? Are there any coping mechanisms we can share other than rocking backwards and forwards in a trilobite curl on the ground muttering 'Soooooooooooooon' repeatedly to ourselves? Because I've got that one down pat.

On a side note - I did want to thank the Reaper staff for getting me back into the hobby after 20 years out. I'd forgotten how oddly calming it is to sit down with a figure and start painting : )

coping mechanisms:

1. paint other stuff. Must finish metal minis before bones arrive... (one can dream)

2. clean shelves, organize hobby supplies, stock up on bases, visit michaels/hobby lobby weekly and use coupon

3. watch basketball. (go heels!)

4. sleep and dream of... Bones!!!!

Well, I'm reading the forum right now and it's almost 1am here in the UK. I think that says something (not sure what though). I've also ordered L2PK 1 and 2 but I'm not sure if that order will get caught up in Reaper's fulilment madness. Seeing as it's now looking like the larger KS orders might not ship until May, I might just get a change to learn a bit of painting before then.

Although I'm certainly keeping tabs on how the fulfillment stage is progressing, I'm not overwrought about it. I recently sent off my ReaperCon tournament army for paint, so I've been talking a lot with the painter about what needs to be done and how. That, as well as some other projects, should keep me plenty busy until the box appears at my doorstep.

Quite frankly, I'm to focused on ReaperCon entries to be concerned about when the Bones will arrive here.

This is kind of where I am right now. Other than taking care of my son and normal house stuff, I'm finding time to work on ReaperCon entries that seem to never want to be something I call 'finished'.

Well, it's been 8 months til now . . . another 30 days or so will be a breeze.

My elf it will be

I just finished my ReaperCon entry, and must say it was a really fun diversion... but now what? ::twitch::

exactly, i've been playing the crap out of the new xcom game and plan on trying to finish my mind flayer crew and covert 3.5 rules for them over to pf.

Side note, I caught myself watching All the bones videos again over on the reaper page http://www.youtube.com/feed/UCO1X1UCs83zKxMQyn9TanOg

Keep yourself busy... I work outside the city and so for five days at week I am focused only doing calculations and I can't afford the leisure to think about miniatures.

I leaves me only two days at week to shopping, clean the house, see my girlfirend. So there is little time to think to the miniatures. I hope I will survive till June.
