I backed this project and I think things have gone fairly well - except for the cards/book issues.  But let's really take a second and realize that Kickstarter has opened up opportunities for just about anyone to try to fund a project that they feel is worthwhile.  Obviously, many people felt this one was worthwhile and made a speculative contribution to getting the game made.  And it is getting made.  But we've seen it time and time again that project creators don't see all the potential pitfalls and they stumble into one or more of them.

 

The game components are good, the premise and gameplay are solid, and I have no doubt that in time we'll end up with the rest of our "stuff".  So what if I have to download a new version of the book or the cards?  Sure beats the old days when there were glaring errors in a printed manual and no way to ever get an update/correction.  I'd even pay a small amount to get the new cards.

Currently the tag "Fulfilling" is being used for any kickstarter that has begun to ship out at least part of the backers rewards.

If no pledge rewards have been sent out and it is past the projects estimated shipping date, the tag "Late" is being used.

 

Orders are being fulfilled. Slowly, and in pieces.  Backers in the US got the base game last spring.

I hope they send all the FAQ, Updated rules, erratas and alike together in a printed version with the RoW shipment.

Not entirely true... US second shipment are going out after everyone else.

Nope, US is after RoW, but EU got delayed again, so RoW is being followed by US

Update today has US backers not receiving all rewards (rat and elemental captains deleayed), and never receiving all of their skeleton minions(backers getting 20 instead of 22, also not shipping yet). Not much happiness in their comment section.

they have since changed their stance to all backers will receive everything.  some may say they just clarified, but no, they changed their minds on it.  it will be more delays, stacked on top of the pile of delays.  certianly it will be followed by at least two more delays, because reasons.

*shrugs* as long as they deliver and they have a chance to redeem themselves in the Mmercs project. Albeit, that one already had a rough start with the pledge manager increase.

I have a playable game currently.  I can wait for the rest of the rewards.  Almost 2 years and still not a thing from Kingdom Death (although I really expect it all to be awesome), so no worries from me about a delay for a few remaining things.  I feel bad for the company, actually.  Just means another additional shipping cost.

Us over here in the EU still haven't seen the base game yet (except for all the ones available for purchase from online retailers....)

Ours are still on a boat somewhere between China and Germany.

@Dan d'Lyon same thoughts, at least Mercs is delivering and communicating unlike a few other miniature projects other users have backed. *cough* CSM *cough*

 

@Nocturne, ouch. Thought box 1 and box 2 were being shipped to you? It's still on a boat arriving at their distribution place?

Yup, expected in Germany September 29th. It's ROW (mostly Australia from the looks of it) that have started to get shipments now.
