Bones Shipment Tracking thread

I really hope mine just hasn't been scanned and will be here in the morning. I am on an earthquake-enforced holiday, so some Bones to methodically organize would be nice.

Bones. Shaken, not stirred.

I heard about the earthquake and thought "oh no, not again!" Hope everything is okay, and back to normal again over there soon. These earthquake clean-ups must be getting quite routine over there.

Arrived home today and found my KS package sitting on my doorstep here in the UK, just 5 days after getting my shipping notice. I think that's the fastest I've ever got anything from the US.

Even better, those nice people in Customs saw fit not to charge me anything. So I'm a happy bunny at the moment. ::D:

I live in a district in Hong Kong called Tai Wai. It appears the US sorting facilities ignored the code HK and sent my bones to Taiwan :( Anyone knows what will going to happened in our case? Will Taiwan forward my package to Hong Kong directly or will it get return to US and I'll have to wait for another month?

I'm working from home because my workplace is 'not entirely unsafe' right now. Very few injuries - fortunately, the earthquake was a bit further away from Wellington than the previous shakes in Christchurch and Wellington is a known earthquake risk area - because of that, building codes tend to get enforced a bit more stringently and we tend, as a whole, to be more prepared for shakes when they come.

Granted, that preparation often comes in the form of existential dread of waiting for the fabled Big One™ to hit. Wellington's topography basically means there's one way in and out of the city, and it doesn't just cross a fairly major fault line, it runs along it. So a certain amount of fatalism is perhaps, inevitable. But just taking me as an example - I have 40 litres of clean water stored, an emergency kit packed and ready to go, and enough food to survive for 5 days without support if the worst comes to pass. I'm still completely screwed if I'm at work when the Big One™ hits though.

My box arrived at work today, all 20 pounds. I have been dying for my lunch break to roll around so I can peek inside. Have to eat first but in a few minutes I will be in Bones Heaven.

So, Bones have now arrived in Adelaide, Australia!

Edit: I have sated myself for now by assembling Kaladrax. The bags were already opened so Mine obviously got checked. No missing Kally bits for me. Only 3 more hours till I can go home and dive into the box. Oh, Kally is also greeting anyone who wanders into the kitchen now.

Congratulations and I also hate all of you.

I'm beginning to wonder if the western Canadian Bones shipment has been held up in customs.

It would explain why we haven't heard anything since the 11th. I've had this happen once before with a Mantic order. Customs was holding onto the order at the Vancouver airport until duty fee's where paid, however the delivery company neglected to inform either Mantic or myself of that little fact.

Edited for spelling.

Were the any updates on the tracking beyond the 'processed through sort facility Australia' status?

None at all. It still says the same thing and it was delivered over 8 hours ago.

Mine are now in the UK,

through customs (and yes they will be charging me)

I've phoned parcel force which will be carrying them on the last stage of the journey and now have the bill (£25.55) and the reference number to pay it online but can't do so until the box reaches my local distribution hub

so I'm guessing Monday for delivery (I could try for Saturday but that would add another £12 in fees, curses!)

(for those in the UK who are interested the USPS tracking number works on the parcel force site, and generates a NEW parcel force number which you then need to use on their system to get your customs reference number... or you could wait to for them to send you a letter)
