Cthulhu & CAV

Recommended Posts

So Bryan, how many times now have you been put on the spot by a random picture posted on the internet? :;):

Far more often than I'm admitting.

Leaked pictures happen surprisingly often - and it's worse that the breach isn't from a low level functionary, it's usually Ed. In this case, he took the product to GAMA where it got shot, and now I'm scrambling to find out what's allowed to be said.

That's okay, Bryan. We'll make up some untruths no matter what you say or don't say.

Guys, did you know that Reaper is going to start producing officially-licened Hannah Barbara Bones figures? I heard it from a guy in a chat room, so it must be true!

Leaks, denials, whatever... I'm just glad we're going to get CAV bones!

I heard an unconfirmed rumor of a drunken speculation that an untrustowrthy fellow suggested that he thought we should. That's good enough for proof, right?

Only if he posted it on the internet.

I'm in for a Captain Caveman Bones figure. Greatest Superhero ever!

I remember the first time we saw the Wererat from D&D mini line. We nicknamed it Captain Caveman, then spent half the evening arguing who would win in a fight between the captain, Bam Bam, Conan and Batman. Of course Batman wins, but we all agreed Cavey was the real winner because after the fight he had the Teen Angels to nurse him back to health.

Heck, I'm not even sure I'm allowed to tell you that I didn't know.

You could just blame all of this madness on Cthulhu, I hear he's into that kind of thing.

As a working commercial artist I know the pitfalls and suckiness of NDAs and such. Usually I have a minimum wait of at least 3 months after I finish a project until it gets published where I can't talk about it, show my work, etc. etc. If it's something I'm really excited about it's so frustrating.

Also an artist, usually it's the case that when my work finally does come out I consider it 'old stuff' and usually hate it.
