I got my shipping notification at end of day Friday for the following; should I be concerned that the UPS tracking info doesn't work yet?

I would not be too concerned about the tracking not working. We have 6 Pallets of product that *we* record as complete, but the UPS truck isn't scheduled to pick up until this morning. Until they take delivery, tracking won't work at all. They cannot send a normal driver, because these items are Palletized for freight/Container truck delivery, not standard UPS, so we have to schedule a pickup with UPS Freight.

My understanding is that they are packing the rest of the Canadian orders today (as soon as their UPS rep gets there).

Hence my earlier question. I had understood that all the Canadian orders were going to be blitzed through in one go but based on Bryan's post above the truck is picking up the stuff today and there are still some Canadians who have not received a confirmation note (myself included). While I'm as eager as the rest to get my Bones, I'm fine with whatever order they get sent out in, just seems like there's a deviation in the original plan on dealing with us Canucks.

 

Either way, every order shipped brings them one closer to mine so all is good.

From what was said by Bryan elsewhere, Canadian shipping will resume once the UPS representative decides to show up to oversee things to make sure it all goes smoothly.

 

 

 

Yes, they want all the Canadian out so UPS can oversee things. This is being done so Canadians will not have to pay any additional fees. Shipping has slowed because of this and that they are shipping larger Canadian orders.

Correct. We resume Canadian when our UPS rep gets in. We were doing 1,200 a day before The switchover, and most of that was due to the complexity of paperwork for the Brokerage. We anticipate going back up to that faster number once that's done.

ROW shipments are simpler from a shipping standpoint, as we automated our Customs forms years ago. It's just this byzantine process for Self-brokerage. I'm grateful for it, but it slowed us down a lot.

Our Canadian rep rescheduled at the last minute and we currently have her scheduled to help us close out Canada tomorrow.
ROW (Rest of World) being shuffled to accomodate that reschedule.
I'm going to have my lunch now so I can be back in 30 minutes. Happy Counting!
