For those asking about Canada: we got a few hundred (200+) sent out before they told us we had done them wrong. I am told some will be returned but others are going as is."

so be of good cheer brave Canadians

your customs are fighting the good fight and trying to send back the evil Bones invasion. Some have slipped through but don't fret they'll no doubt be hunted down and killed

(sigh you couldn't make it up, at least us in the ROW are just waiting for a free truck, I have to think what most of you lot will need to get your Bones)

I received my big KS Bones shipment today - 4 Vampires, 3 cases, 5 paint sets + lots of addons around noon in Ottawa delivered by UPS. No charges.

KALADRAX!

I did an audit of all the minis in the Vampire boxes and all were there. I'd say maybe 10% might need some bending. I did notice that a unique mini - woman with a spear behind her back was thrown in loose as a gift I guess. *** This mini seems to be Hykeria, the woman that comes with Kaladrax.***

Unfortunately, I did notice that the packer only threw in one set of a few add-on items that I had ordered two sets of, so I'm putting in an e-mail to Reaper to hopefully get those shipping to me soon.

Thanks to Reaper for such awesome products and a fantastic KS deal.

Happy painting

Interesting that the (successful) escapees seem to be the mis-sorted orders.

The stray woman might be Kaladrax's companion. See other threads.

Edit: maybe the UPS folks knew they were looking for 200+ boxes of miniatures to return to Reaper, and so ignored the pallet of 15kg boxes...

Sorry for the multiple emails and getting your hopes up, but we want to make sure we get this right so you guys get your stuff in the best possible way.

Our shipping people came back to us and asked us to reprocess your shipment a different way, so your original tracking number isn't going to work.

For those of you who haven't been in touch with me yet, this is the way it's working:

We process your package through UPS, and they provide a tracking number right away.

Your package gets freighted across to Canada as part of a huge shipment.

WE PAY THE DUTIES ON THAT, NOT YOU. (Just to be clear. ; ] ) Once UPS Canada process our freight drop, your tracking number goes live into the system. That will take about 3-4 days from the time you get your next tracking email.

You'll be getting another email with a new tracking number once we reprocess you.

We're really sorry about the delay and redo on this one, but it's really important we get this right for you.

If you have any questions, you can reply to this email. I'm very busy with all this stuff, but I'll get back with you as soon as I can.

Worst feeling ever? Worst feeling ever. Especially with several days of silence afterward :(

Can you elaborate on the "several days of silence"? I'm a bit confused by that is all. Bryan has been quite active both here and the KS comments so whose silence are we discussing?

Oh nothing major, just got that email 3 days ago. Saw it and was half-expecting the "fixed" email to be like the next day or something. Now I am stuck back in the processing line and am all sad.

Ah, so silence as in lack of shipping email. I understand now; thanks.

I think most of Canada and all of RoW are taking a deep breath right about now. But the box will come and when it does there will be much rejoicing.

Mis-sorted orders? I am not aware of a couple of these latest developments. I know I have a jealous friend who got an email about the tracker number no longer being good but I didn't receive such an email. Can someone summarize what the problem was. Were these boxes returned because of a packing error or some sort of paper work problem?

I haven't take a full inventory yet of what I have and what I don't have. As a quick glace, it seems all there ... the big ones for sure though I will need to double check everything that was loose in the box. With the exception of a couple of the miniatures that had their own box (Cthulhu comes to mind), if it wasn't part of the Vampire box, the miniatures (read all the regular extras) were loose though each in their own bag. No issues with the actual packing, there were plastic air bags to have things fit snug without crushing anything. But that also means that the 'Orcpacalypse' had each orc in its own plastic bag. The picture I posted earlier showed a pile of miniatures ... these were the add-ons only. A lot to go through and a bunch to identify before I can say with certainty that I got everything I was supposed to.

In Burnaby, BC (Canada). Still haven't received my Bones yet (of course) but I'll probably be looking to trade out some of the non-Fantasy stuff. Anyone else local looking for trades?

I'm in Burnaby too! I'm not sure that I want to trade away the fantasy minis, but bones party?

Also Bonesy, your floor looks exactly like mine. Are you also in Burnaby? hahahaha.

I meant mis-sorted in the sense that they were packed out of order. Reaper prints out orders in groups of 1500, sorted by number of items. Last Friday morning, while working on the Canadian orders, they realized that some of the largest orders had been put near the top of the pile (the printer can handle 300 sheets at a time, and they put the last pile on top, rather than the bottom, of the stack). This meant that Reaper spent a couple hours filling huge (30-40 item) orders, when they had been expecting 5-7 items.

Based on what Bryan said on Kickstarter today (I believe it is reposted earlier in this thread), some 200+ Canadian packages were shipped that Friday morning before UPS admitted that UPS had provided the wrong forms. All subsequent Canadian orders have been held for re-labeling. In today's Kickstarter message, Bryan suggested that they expected many of the 200+ orders to be returned by customs rather than delivered.

Today, we have heard of a couple Canadian orders being delivered; they have all been very large. So, these very large orders were filled in the wrong order last Friday (mis-sorted), shipped with the wrong paperwork (escaped), and yet are now arriving in Canada (successfully).

We know each other from the HirstArts board. Not to worry, I'm not looking to take away anyone's fantasy bones. Worst case is, some time later on, I might come across someone who's looking for some of the more modern figs and up for some sort of trade. Bones party sounds good!

I didn't recognize the screen name >.<

I actually acquired a few more molds though I have yet to use them. I've been working on painting many models. I also went in on the Dwarven Forge kickstarter so Operation D&D is in full effect :D
