10 sets of paint

::o:

It's only been recently that I've come to understand that I was thinking way, way too small when I only added 2 to my order. So many minis that need painting...

Huzzah!

That's 1 of each for me, 1 of each for a friend and 1 of 2 of the sets for my other friend, who wishes he'd ordered all 4 now :)

Back when the KS was on, I didn't own any MSP at all. Of course now that has changed considerably between the LTPKs and miniwargaming's closing sale. Was trying to organize my paint (and desk) last night, and then kept thinking "and I need room for 48 more bottles when the Bones come"...

Mine came in at 59.6 lbs.

:wow:

That's a LOT of Bones. How many boxes?

When are the BONES supposed to cross the border and be sent on their merry way?

After seeing the photos/unboxing vids wishing I had doubled up on the Vampire. <_<

On Wednesday Bryan said he was expecting the "Canada Truck" on Thursday or Friday. I didn't see anything yesterday to indicate the truck arrived yesterday, so I'm still going on the assumption they will be picked up today. After that we can only speculate. If they are picked up today, they should travel all weekend (hopefully) so should get into Canada early next week maybe? (assuming no paperwork issues at the border). Then we should get updated shipping notices with estimated delivery dates.

According to Bryan's post on KS this morning (comments section), they are still trying to get the UPS truck there.

I have to say I just don't understand UPS on this one. They are making a huge amount of money off this project (all US shipping plus Canada). Why they are dragging their feet just hurts my head. There are competitors out there... /shrug

Donuts? Never heard that stereotype. Although, I live near the other US border and spend my time enjoying quality guacamole and whatnot.

Watch the canadian stereotype movie "Strange Brew". It's an older movie, but it features the legendary canadian brothers Bob & Doug Mckenzie from SCTV's Great White North.

or better yet, how can they still be in business? I might be wrong but it seems that anyone that has an opinion about UPS, it's always terribly negative. Myself, I have a passionate hatred for their practices based on my own experiences with them, especially in light of my experiences with 3 other shipping companies. (FedEx, Purolator and Canada Post)

I've had one delivery from UPS that I was pleased with (at the time) because there were no extra fees asked of me. But a week later they called to tell me that they had "box 2 of 3" and I would be billed duty (good to know ahead of time), but I also owed them duty for the already-delivered "box 1 of 3"!

Just the kind of update you want:

Good Canadian News!! UPS has confirmed that they are sending a truck today to pick up all remaining orders!
We continue to process ROW but at this time we do not yet have a postage solution. Now that Canada is resolved, we can refocus those efforts and hopefully have a solution very soon

Now: Tacos!!
