@DLMyst: I drove down to Reapercon and Minicannuck flew down. We both picked up our Vampires, case and paints - including an extra Vampire box we picked up in the auction. No add-ons were available for pickup as they were either in storage for the duration of the convention or had not yet arrived from China.

At the risk of sounding like a sore loser, I'll second this idea. The "race" was won buy someone a few pages back who actually went to Texas and picked up his order. So, being one of the many canadians sitting on a pallet somewhere in the US, I still consider it unfinished. Let's just call the "Great Canadian Mass Shipment Bones Race" from now on.

But if I may use the trademark the canadian politeness, let's say that once we all get our shipments, we're all winners.

Title Edited accordingly.

Don't have my package yet. I've just been spending an awful lot of time on this board and I'm taking a bit of a break for a while. I try to check in and update the Bones group wip list, but I'm relaxing a bit from my usual verbose self.

So has everyone here received a message of some kind from UPS, then? Because I'm still sitting in the middle of BC,

waiting patiently for that first email hint that my Vampire+ is indeed somewhere in shipping... anyone else in the same

(metaphorical) boat as me?

AFAIK no one has received a message directly from UPS. We all have tracking numbers from Reaper, and when you fire up that number, the UPS site returns something along the lines of "A UPS shipping label has been created...". The information in the Reaper email indicated that once the Freight trucks cross the Canuckistan border, then the tracker will activate and properly track the package.

If you've not received your email from Reaper, I think that all of the Canadian orders are supposed to have been sent out, so fire an email to [email protected] and let them know that you fell beween the metaphorical seat cushions.

I received one as well.

Yea, I got both a reaper message and a UPS message. Mine still says it's "Received into UPS possession". So either everything sat there over the weekend (wouldn't be surprised) or it's taking them longer to sort the packages than it did Reaper to package them up.

Here are two little guys for the new year: Bones vege-(or vegy-)pygmies, sculpted by Kevin Williams.
In the game lore, they are plant creatures arising from infestations of russet mold, so I wanted to incorporate rusty orange- and red-browns with the green.
(And if you're still in the holiday spirit, you can sing a rousing round of "Rusty the Moldman".)
I spent about 2-3 hours on each.
It was fun to play with a few oranges, reds, and purples, along with the greens.
I thought about adding foliage or other material on the bases, but decided to call these two done for now.
      Enjoy!

As you continue exploring the cathacomb, you catch sight of a ghastly humanoid creature walk in your direction. The stench of death and rot lingered around its undead forms. You recognize with horror, a minion of the dark necromancer queen Kiaransalee. This is a 77159, Ghast sculpted by James Van Schaik.

Well, finally painted him - and I'm pretty satisfied. I heavily borrowed/copied from this post: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/84520-77594-solar-angel/#comment-1788530,

It went better than I expected.

I may end up doing a bunch of image dumps - I've painted a lot this year and maybe I should just post them in sets.

This one, though, deserves its own post, I think.  I painted up the Green Dragon Hatchling from waaaay back in Bones 2, showed it to my wife, and she made some suggestions - so here you have it painted up as a Swamp Dragon from the Discworld, as kept by Lady Sybil of Ankh-Morpork.  I gave them a collar and name plate, and since they're a tame dragon, I gave them a few chew toys, including a Rolly Ball just like Rex of "Snake Discovery," as can be seen here:

      It's Krampus time! 🙂
So, the challenge here was to use the Holiday Paint Set as the main/core palette.  Which turned out to be a no challenge at all.  This figure is pretty much calling for a certain palette to be used on it.  Never the less, the fun has been had with this one 🙂
All sorts of comments are always welcomed!
