Great Canadian Mass Shipment Bones Race

I was pleasantly surprised by UPS this time. My wife left a note, and the guy brought the (15 pound) box all the way up to our place on the ninth floor.

Mostly everything was all there, an extra NOVA set in the vampire box, one missing spider centaur, and a demon with a missing left arm and two heads. I am definitely converting him to a two-headed demon; he is the demon that is summoned to strike a deal every time someone says "I would give my left arm to ..."

One of the first things that struck me is how big they are ... which seems like a strange thing to say about miniatures. A sizeable fraction wouldn't fit into the case, so I'm thinking about ways of altering it. For now they are all just sitting loose until they get painted up. But mostly we just sorted through them going "oooh this one's awesome .... oooh this one's awesome" over and over.

MEANWHILE, IN WESTERN CANADA:

Here's hoping tomorrow will result in a UPS truck rolling down that road and squashing the tumbleweed flat in it's haste to bring Bones to western Canadians!

Keep hitting that refresh button -- You will likely get a change in the graphic before UPS does anything... :P

The TransCanada west of Kamloops looked a lot like that.

Yup. The stretch around Kamloops - Merrit or Kamloops down to Kelowna looks like that. But the last time I was up there was the really hot summers when all the beetle kill was going up in flames.

^^ that's what I'm like here in BC.

If western gets a delivery please post asap

I was one of the escapees in the Great Northern Bones Escape, and got delivered to in BC. I'm not part of this current shipment, but UPS is capable of delivering to the west coast.

I pick on UPS every chance I get, but with Reapers help they managed to get them to my door without errors and no hidden costs, so just this once, "Yay UPS!*"

*But still, mostly "Yay Reaper!"

Delivered 10 am by my "Amazon Guy". He seems like a good dude and is always the UPS guy who shows up.

Now I have a mental image, and fear, of UPS confusing British Columbia and its rainforest with the Colombian Amazon rainforest and delivering my Bones to a member of a long lost goblin tribe deep within the jungle there. Edited by Darsc Zacal

sigh.....

{Looks forlornly at the UPS tracking site that still says "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated. Label Created On: 07/11/2013"}

double-sigh.

Pretty much.

Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since "A UPS shipping label has been created" (mine is marked the 10th). This is starting to get a bit silly. Is there anyone on Reaper's end that can say whether or not these boxes have actually gone anywhere?

Did anyone check between the seat cushions?
