You don't get a choice. They arrive when they arrive, and unfortunately for us Canucks, that means putting some of our patented Politeness^TM to the test and being extra patient.

 

In the meanwhile, go get some vitamin D while you can. Once the Bonenami arrives and we become shut-ins, at least we won't be transparent. In the event that it is also snowing where you live (as it is here, now), then you can always order the already-Bonesified minis, or go buy some metal, or prepare 250+ bases.

 

If you're super impatient, eBay has some of the Vampire sets on sale for about $250. But, IMO if you're willing to pony up that cash, you may as well get 30 or so metals that won't be included in your Vampire set.

Or some of the First 29 original bones, which includes stuff not in the Kickstarter package. Won't take much to tide you Ogre without giving duplicates, and might make waiting Gnoll problem at all.

I had been looking for alternatives to warhammer that my friends would play and I've gotten a few into Warlord.

Well that and I just spent some cash on the Robotech and Dwarven Forge kickstarters, so buying a third vampire on ebay won't happen.

I'll just have to find something to distract me

I'm expecting 6 packages to arrive this week. Two Reaper orders (one of which I have the deliver notice for and have to pick up tomorrow), two orders of paint, and two ks deliveries.

Plus I've gotten almost no painting done, but did manage to get my summer car back on the road with whole days to spare before the first autoslalom of the year.

So I'm ok with my Bones not shipping for a little bit yet....my two friends who also went in on the order may not be quite so patient. :)

I have 2 LTPK's a reapercon Sophie, and several other assorted figures comeing my way as well. I can wait. I can maybe start to catch up on things in the process. Still, i can understand others being a tad antsy. Hell, I'm a tad antsy still.

I'm getting a little impatient (where's my bones dagnabit?) but the friend who went in on it with me is probably okay... he has, shall we say, another new miniature to deal with.
