Dwarf Dragon Slayer...

I saw this set in my hobby shop and thought that it was a great looking set...bought it...painted it...and this vignette is the final results. For myself, I paint figures that I like and that I figure I would enjoy painting...so I have no real topic or title type of figures in my collection.

painting what you like and what you enjoy is the best way to paint. That's mostly how I do things, of course I also have a serious case of "that would be great in a game" or "hey, this guy looks like so and so" which keeps me buying more stuff

I'm an old school painter come back after twenty years hiatus, and I am always deeply impressed by magnificent basing. I love the foliage and the skilful vignette.

 

Your painting of the dragon is sensitive and distinct ... if that's a reasonable thing to say about a humorously decapitated head.

poor dragon... I need to paint a dragon with dwarf's head at his feet and call it "Dwarf Slayer"
