I also waited a bit to do the pledge manager to let traffic die down a touch, and regretting it (only a little) now! Not terribly complicated, but I don't know how the paints and case will change things. I'm also glad that I checked the email because I'd forgotten that I added on the dragons at the last second, yay!

 

Oh, forgot to add that we're in the United States.

the waiting is slowly killing me, and worse, taking my sanity. For a refresher, I got one vampire, some extras of haunts, dungeon dressings, grave danger and swamp things, as well as kaladrax and a couple orders of deep dwellers. So I'm in the back of the roster with the rest of you poor sods.

Would picking up your vampire packages, your paints, and your cases actually make the order simple and move up on the list? I would figure that Reaper would move those closer to the end if anything to focus on those of us who haven't gotten any of our kickstarter rewards yet.

I dont know... It depends on if they resort or if the shipping order is cast in Bones.... I hope that with the order now requiring a smaller box, then it would move me up to that box size. It is all speculation, as I will never know where I was on the list and if it changed. What I do know is that I love the Bomes I have and can't wait for the rest... However, it doesn't matter, as there is know way I can get even one Vampire painted before the rest arrive.

I have to say, as someone who isn't able to pick up part of their order, I think it would be unfair if those who were able to got pushed forward in the shipping line. That would feel like I was getting punished for my patience and my lacking ability to travel if I got pushed further back in the shipping queue because someone else grabbed part of their order already and now "technically" has less to ship. I mean, originally the plan was to not allow anyone to pick up their order at all so that there weren't any questions like this.

well, I don't think they would get bumped forward. Mostly, because as i understand it, with the extras, they have to pick and pack each box separately. So mostly, those will be packed in order of complexity and size, regardless of if they are going with a Vampire box, or without. That might not be how it is, but that's what makes sense to me.

There's also the issue of the box size. They are packing boxes of the same size at a single station. So, it wouldn't make sense to leave the adjusted pledges in the same space in the shipping order, because then you would have someone packing large boxes including vamp+cases+paint+others, and then suddenly need to pack a box that only contains a few extras and they'd need to go find the correct box.

 

The whole point of the shipping order is to make it convenient and therefore more efficient, so it wouldn't make sense leave things in the same order if it does not fit the pattern of what they are packing that day.
