Very nice job, thanks for posting him! Really like the fact he's man enough to wear pink! I do have a question, though. Your sword is shorter than the one mine has. Did he come that way or did you swap it out or cut it down?

My set came with the slave master having a short sword...I noticed yours came with a long Turkish type blade. It is ironic that we both had the pink shirt idea for the same figure!...I do have a question that I forgot to ask before...I have never seen the figure (DF-423.JPG...Nude chained to a post)...was it a regular Ral Partha issue? I am looking for a figure along these lines to paint up for an adventure group rescue. Do you know of any on the market in the standard 25mm or 28mm scale?

You might still be able to get that one from Iron Wind Metals but you'd have to send an e-mail because it has disappeared from the online catalogue. It would be identifiable under the same code. It used to be on line but might have been removed in error when they were updating the system

It I think was one of the remakes they did from something from their Citadel stuff.

      Hi folks!

Today I started painting #03836 "Jakob Janssen, Monk" for our friend Jakob. Sending him some good vibes during this time and excited to finish this and ship it his way! I started with skintones and I'm currently working on painting him with a big ol' George Clooney smile

I want to finalize my color scheme but I'm really struggling! Many great painters have already posted photos of their version of this mini and I want to do something different than what's already been done. Here are the three I'm considering:

The traditional Shaolin monk color scheme Iron Fist (Marvel) color scheme? (green & yellow) Halfling Monk (Pathfinder) color scheme? (green, red/orange, yellow with freehand insanity) Others??
HALP! The more options I research, the less decisive I get. Going to check back in tonight to see what folks think since I'll need to decide before my livestream tomorrow morning. At the end of the day, no matter what color scheme I choose, I'll do my absolute best to make sure it's something that will hopefully bring @JakobJanssen some creative joy   I'll check back in soon. Thanks in advance for your thoughts & suggestions!!

My goal here was to push myself to go as fast as possible. Start to finish it took approx. 2.5 hours, which is definitely a record for me. Contrary to my usual practice, I painted the integral base; when I do get around to doing a proper base, I will likely integrate it into the display. C&C welcome.

I'm very handy with a knife. Or so I kept telling myself. Until I cut off Cassie's index finger while trying to remove a few mold lines. Now, I'm trying to pass that particular incident off as a modification, but I'm not sure anyone is really buying it. Least of all Cassie.

Hi everyone! Long-time lurker, but this is my first post, with my fifth miniature. Newbie painter, started with Reaper's LTP kits. This particular mini is one of my favorites, but I may have taken on a bit more than I can chew (or fix... with my hobby knife). I found a lot of good examples of well-painted Cassies here on the forum and decided to imitate one of the paint schemes I found. With mixed results. The amount of experience and talent around here is both inspiring and a bit intimidating. In any case, here she is, almost finished but not yet based. Haven't quite figured out what to do for a base. Is she in a forest setting, in a cave, in a desert? What would fit best with the current paint scheme? Will she ever forgive me for cutting off her finger? Questions, questions...

Bones 4 core set #20.  Could not find a release # for him yet.  I took this guy and a few of his pals to Reapercon to work on in my spare time (ha!) and got him base coated using some of the new Pathfnder paint set.  I couldn't help but notice the chickens and the look of terror on his face, thus the name.   Finished him with a basic drybrush and wash for table top play.

Interesting little guy, I am sure he is up to no good, skulking around in the shadows near the palace.  He has a pair of new bronze daggers, and murder in his eyes.
