Jasung
@ littledragon: I'd inform them. You can then hash out something that'll work. I'd like to have gotten more stuff like "Nethy" but I was a bit cash-strapped at the time. I'm happy that I got as much as I did though, no doubt about that. Thanks Dread Polack and Foxden Racing. Those were very informative posts and touched on many of concerns. I appreciate the replies. (Re: http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49977-got-bones-tm-and-inventoried/page-24#entry743213 & http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49977-got-bones-tm-and-inventoried/page-24#entry743350) I dig Reaper and many of my friends swear by them; thus, I'm not worried. I trust them and I'm fairly sure they'll make things right if given time. This is something I'm happy to do since I was in no rush to get the KS Bones in the first place. I mean these are good-looking models at a bargain-basement price! Who can complain? (Please, that wasn't meant as an opening.) ^^ ---> To use Klarg's words, I'm glad people are taking it real cool and have a "healthy attitude" about the whole thing. Re: Soft Minis (http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49977-got-bones-tm-and-inventoried/page-24#entry743285) Suden, I wasn't even keeping track of that stuff. I'm not overly concerned about it. I was curious more than anything. At the end of the day, the models look great and made in decent material at an excellent price (for me). If these suckers fly off the table, then I know that they shouldn't break and that's always good news. ^__^ Though, they probably shouldn't be flying in the first place... I don't think I got the worst or even near it as there were folks that missed out entire bags (the large #1-6 bags). Finally gone through the rest and the damage is far less than I was expecting. I just hit the problems early on for the second vampire thinking that pattern might continue. Thankfully it didn't. I'm kinda sorta regretting that the giant didn't come out black as that would have been interesting and unique little thing to have, but I'm very glad that it came out clean as that model is just so damn cool! Harrek, that's a good thought. If you're going to order more stuff then see if they can't just put the replacements in along with your purchase. Hmm... there's been a few models that I've bookmarked forever and a day. Maybe I'll ask them about that too. *Winks* Before this KS, I didn't have a lot of miniatures and this really helped to infuse and jumpstart my, um, "plasticrack" addiction that I'm developing. I completely blame my friends and the excellent Reaper models I've bought before. Once upon a time, I recall, I was the guy that was happy enough to use pennies or scraps of paper to represent various hordes of monsters, terrain, and other things while other coins were used to represent PCs and named NPCs/VIPs. Aw, such innocence. At least I will always have this tool in my toolkit but I've seen the light. Great, powerful, and VISUAL monstrosities now await my players for them to challenge! It certainly brings something else to the table when people see things in front of them. I haven't sent Reaper an e-mail yet. I have a couple of questions; albeit minor: In relation to the vampire level, if I recall, the "Mister Bones" model was one per pledger (unless you add more). Right? I only had one in my add-on box; I separated all the add-ons and placed them into another box. My friend informed me that he was missing his. How many models were there in the "Deep Dwellers" add-on? I could have sworn there were supposed to be five for that set and the image on KS shows five. For the "Dungeon Dressing", wasn't there supposed to be a sacrificial victim on the alter? Alright guys and gals, I'd love to chat it up with you all, but I have to go. Happy adventuring! 'Til next time! --Jasung
Ursha&NoAkei
For the "Dungeon Dressing", wasn't there supposed to be a sacrificial victim on the alter? No it wasn't. The altar is a two pieces model and the victim was never done in bones, you must buy her from the boneyard if you are interested They have used the old image in the kickstarter, but it was clear in the previews. ksera
I had everything but 14560: Kavorgh, Black Orc Warlord is missing his shield arm. I think other people have had this problem. And the usual offenders have no noses or bubble face like other people have seen (the harpy, hell born paladin, ect.). Some of these I dont' care about, but I really want that shield arm, and the hellborns nose lol I was planning on getting some of the giants and some paint when the Bones are all released, so I might just wait to bring it up to Reaper so they aren't sending one arm in a huge box to me x3 Edited July 22, 2013 by ksera
jlblack
I tried to inventory my shipment, twice, and both times I was bedeviled by a ringing phone and a silly dog until I gave up. Of course, once I did, the phone stopped ringing and the dog settled down. I'm pretty sure I got everything, and it looks like nothing was damaged (beyond a few minis that were bent at the ankles, which I don't see as anything to fuss about) or missing pieces. I didn't find any of the minis I got to be overly rubbery. I did find two or three that had black specks, and one that had a spot of orange for some reason. I'll give the inventorying another try, but my initial two tries seemed to indicate there might have been a couple of missing minis, but those tries also revealed that they'll likely turn up with another head count. buglips*the*goblin
All good here. Some extra NOVA and FoN tree guy has two right arms. That's it. ETA: Final count is 352, which is what it should be. Nothing's missing, so I didn't actually get any extra NOVA. Weird. Maredudd
At about 4:30 this morning, being unable to get back to sleep after waking up to some inaudible/invisible disturbance in the Force, I finally pulled out my box of Bones and formally started my inventory. I had verified the "extra" stuff was here the day the goodies got here, though I still had to verify all of Wyrmgear was present, which he is btw. I printed my inventory list and started marking things off. Yep, all the extra stuff present and accounted for. I checked the 6 bags inside the Vampire Box and I have one each of 1-6, so no apparent duplicates there . . . I opened bag 1 and realized that I needed my computer handy so I can call up a pic of the figures for verification . . . I decided it was way too early, and I was too tired for this effort. I'll do the Vampire Box tonight . . .
Nvision
Everything in mine was present and accounted for, none missing no doubles. However, there are dozens of them doing the bendy dance, so I'll have to sit down and have a serious boiling session. Also, Cthulhu is epic. I'm running a CoC scenario with minis specifically to get him in there.
Niranth
Maredudd, my disturbance occurred at 3:30 and I was able to coherently inventory the Vampire box and to verify the existence of the add-ons. I still need to go through each of the add-ons to check for completeness.
jlblack
Finally got to complete the inventory, and found only two minor glitches: * In the IMEF set, I have two of Reggie Van Zandt, and I'm missing Torch McHugh. I'll just buy Torch when he becomes available in the store. I don't mind having two of Reggie; the IMEF squad can use a second minigun. * I'm missing the two giant spiders from the Vermin set. I'll wait until the dust settles on the Kickstarter before I send an email. I'm happy with it all, regardless of these tiny problems. I didn't notice any problems with too-soft minis or missing facial features. EDIT: I just noticed the note at the bottom of the invoice saying to email about problems, so I did. I was going to wait, but decided that since Reaper was kind enough to invite messages about mix-ups, I thought I would send one. I mentioned Torch McHugh, because while I can buy one later, it'd be nice to get it as a late part of the KS. I'd have been glad to send back the extra Reggie, but Reaper also notes on the invoice to not worry about extras. Carnacki the Ghost Finder
Hello, For what it's worth, I got two right wings on Cthulhu and a potential weird paint (09136 Walnut Brown -- it is very dark.) Oh and an extra pack of 4 Nova Corps guys. Otherwise fine.
Pingo
09136 Walnut Brown is supposed to be very dark. It could almost be considered a warm black. I guess it's the color you get from overeripe walnut fruit, which was so stainy it once used as a dark brown/black hair dye. I think I already mentioned I inventoried my Bones and everything is here, nothing missing, no parts missing, no extras and no duplicates. I'm either extraordinarily lucky or things have gone better than anticipated.
kimbers
09136 Walnut Brown is supposed to be very dark. It could almost be considered a warm black. Walnut Brown is also the shadow of 09137 Blackened Brown, the highlight being 09138 Intense Brown. Blackened Brown is a very dark brown itself, so as part of the triad system, the almost black looking Walnut Brown does fit in perfectly. buglips*the*goblin
Yup. My walnut is so dark for a long time I thought it was black with the wrong label.
JeffStray
Also, Walnut Brown is makes an INCREDIBLY good shade wash for nature, leather and flesh areas, so you should treasure every bottle of it. I have 3 and wish I had more.
Cranky Dog
Finally inventoried everything yesterday. Vampire level + all extras (minus Wyrmgear which I now regret since it's beaut). Results: - Everything is there! No parts missing. - Got an extra NOVA male squad (4 guys) like some others. - Got an extra orc spearman from the Orcpocalypse set. - Thanks to these boards, I knew that Kaladrax came with an additionnal mini (robed woman with spear) So 5 extra figures overall that I didn't expect. With the extras, I have 303 minis (and a lot of paint). Only defect I found was my "Forces of Nature" wood elemental has two right hands. It's not a big deal since I can make it fit reasonnably well. I did a quick assembly of Kaladrax. That rear right leg is going to be a pain to properly position. I am a very happy person today.
