Goblin War Band...Adventure Group Enemy...

This is the goblin war band that the adventure group encounters in my RPG adventure game (they are fun for me to play and control)...the figures are a mixture of metal figures from the old Citadel fantasy line & plastic figures from a boxed set of Dungeon Quest...These are all game play figures.

I see HeroQuest figures in there, are you sure you mean Dungeon Quest? Your skeleton group I think was from there too. I guess they could be from more than one game.

Solid work as always. Clean, totally perfect for the table.

Thank you...you may be correct...(Hero...Dungeon)...I just know they are plastic and were in a boxed set.

Yes definately HeroQuest, though it may have been marketed under different names in different countries. They aer pretty good minis for one piece sculpts. My favourites were the Ogres in Against The Ogre Horde, multi piece figures with different heads and weapon hands, very sought after on ebay nowadays.

That's what I thought too, but I didn't see anything on wiki about it (not that I looked too hard, though).

Fun fact: if you played the US version, we were the only ones who got to be "Zargon". Everyone else was apparently "Morcar".

Zargon? wow. Seem to remember that there was a Zargon in B4, but clearly not the same BBEG. This is quite a trip down memory lane for me :)

Picked up this fellow as part of the recent Realm of the Dragon Kickstarter project.  He is on a 40mm base,  barely, and is a pretty good size. Did a simple tabletop paint job, a couple of layers of color and washes.  Very happy with him given how easy he was to paint.

Unfortunate Cadwalon, plague infected, denizen of the sewers. Like a rat able to disappear under the rubble, without a trace. Unfortunate Cadwalon, poison merchant, burglar and opportunistic trickster. Those who know him are aware of his impulsivity and fear enchanted blade. Those who disregard him will pay bitterly for their negligence.

Here's 02044, Cadwalon in all its magnificence , Dark Heaven Legends sculpted by Sandra Garrity.

Got this guy painted up last night. Gonna be tossing out one or two of these guys in my game Friday night. Slowly but surely I'll be using mostly Reaper minis for D&D rather than the prepainted WotC stuff.

This thread is more or less for recommending professional quality online fiction, mostly short, mostly sci fi and fantasy, to help people find enjoyable things to read.

From Clarkesworld Magazine here's a sweet and tragic near-future story of an epidemic as told by a food blogger: "So Much Cooking," by Naomi Kritzer

From Kaleidotrope, here's "Monkey King, Faerie Queen," by Zen Cho, an amusing story of what happens when a Chinese mythic figure wanders well out of his pantheon.

      Guffy

Trying to find a mini for Guffy from We Be Goblin Too!!. I thought I had a good one in the female (yes she is female) Dreg but after seein the mini at the game store on Sunday I think that one will be way to short.

Guffy is a ogrekin. The by-product of a ogre & human "coupling". She is medium or human size.

I thought about looking through the Malifaux line as I've discovered some great goblins in their line (one might make appearance in the WBG games @ ReaperCon)

Anyone know of anything out there? Pretty much my only snag so far in getting minis for both games.

      thanks!
