A friend of mine from California is a player in my RPG group. Comes into town about once a month...she loved the looks of this figure and asked me to paint it up as her adventure character (but not as a vampire). This is the commission piece that I painted for her. This is a playing piece (only when the player is in town to play).

If I may be so bold as to offer up a reason here:

I think the big lips are a result of trying to hide an open mouth that shows off the natural toothiness of being a vampire.

I can easily see my wife wanting this mini for one of her characters, so I'm going to ask now, does anyone have an alternate plan to getting rid of her fangs?

Your comment is absolutely correct. She did not want a "vampire" but a well built/skimpy outfit female fighter. I pondered the problem (thought about trying to cut the fangs out) but decided that such an action would cause problems that I did not want to face. So I went with the very full lips to cover the fangs. The lady was very satisfied with the end results.

      Hi chums!

This is the latest Kickstarter project, expanding our fantasy range this time, and bringing light to the ones we have that might not have been noticed. Along with some super cool female minis, we have some brand new scenics too, and a whole bunch of add on bundles.
I'll post more on the lead up, but for now if you're interested, could you click the "notify me" on the pre launch page and it will help the algorithms, and you know algorithms are the new gods!

Presenting the Frost Giant Heroine from Reaper.

Not my best work, I'm still not great at getting all the mold-lines off these PVC minis, plus I was painting her to help work through some issues I was having so she's a bit on the rough and basic side.
Was still a lot of fun to paint up though, I'll have to get the other one done now.

As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

This is the Bones version of the iconic character, painted in a rather quick and dirty fashion. There was a lot of metal and chain mail, which I did not spend time on, and a few details which I picked out.  In retrospect I could have brightened up the armor some, but since she's likely to go on the table as a generic fighter I didn't feel the need to make her special.

AKA: Sophie's mom.  This is a model that really needs to be made in metal.  It's just awful in plastic.  Anyway, she sat on my paint table a long time before inspiration broke through and I did the wings. The rest just took patience.

Hard to go wrong with sexy female demons, but this one was a devil in more than one sense of the word from start to finish.  Despite being cast in metal she is pretty fragile. The trident broke off and for years she sat in my box of unpainted figs, until one day I found the little pointy bit.  Her tail, likewise, kept bending and i was sure I'd lose that too.

Did her skin with the Bright Skin triad, because that's been waiting patiently for years as well.  Her face is a mess, but overall she came out ok.
