My finished miniatures for the month. The goal is to paint at least 20 minis this month.

 

Comments and Feedback are always welcome, just keep in mind I'm painting for tabletop not competition (unless the post says otherwise for the mini).

Finally managed to finish a model this month!

 

This is an old Ral Partha Dark Sun model; Rikus is one of the heroes from the original Prism Pentad novels. After 20 years I've finally painted him!

Finished a Reaper mini at last (actually there will be a few this month) 02514 Kang, Half-Orc.

I've painted him up for use as a ranger, barbarian or fighter and my youngest helped with selection of base decoration. :)

 

Updated with better pictures, that make it easier to see the colours etc.

That's great! Colours blend well together, looks good when everything is from a brown palette. And your youngest also did a great job, that grass brings nice contrast to the brown palette!

I'll be honest at tabletop distance (arms length) they do look good, at the range of the photos I can see all the messiness of my brushwork.

Yeah, those metallics are really quite something. Very nicely done.

Really cool. The armor armor is very nicely done, as are the polished stone settings. The shield turned out very well.

Finally got some painting done today and finished 02253: Water Elemental.

 

The elemental has a base colour of Marine Teal. This was washed with a Marine Teal & Brilliant Blue for the lower half and then Marine Teal and Pale Green for the top half while the lower half was wet to allow blending. Then details were painted with Pure White, then more highlights were added with Pale Green with a touch of Ashen Blue and Pure White. Finally the edges were painted with Pure White and there was a light drybrush of Pearl White was applied to the model to give it some shine.
