It is very contradictory. The FAQ says the lower levels are limited, and once they are gone you have to move up to the higher levels, meaning if you go there now, you have to pay $75. Otherwise why would you be pointing out openings in the $65 level? However the text for the $60 level states no one will pay more than $60. It is definitely contradictory, and it is also misleading. It sounds like, if you pledge at $75 dollars they will collect $75 unless you specifically ask for the $60 price point, ditto for pledgers at $65.

All EBs get everything the $75 level gets. Here is the bit from the FAQ...

Are the "Spotter in the Crows' Nest", "Harbor of Refuge", "Shakedown Cruise", and "Forward Deck" pledge rewards the same thing other than the dollar amount?

Yes. "Spotter in the Crows' Nest", "Harbor of Refuge", and "Shakedown Cruise" are only at lesser amounts as special incentives for early backers. They are also limited in quantity, so once they are gone, you'll need to move up to the next category. Or you could just pledge "Forward Deck" even though the cost is higher because you really want to pledge more money than you need to. We are okay with that, and we thank you.

This information is contradicted by the text for the $60 pledge Harbor of Refuge which says: "For those of you who have already pledged at higher levels, you an either re-pledge at this level, or we can refund you the difference."

That text was because they added the $60 after there were already a number of $75 pledges. So if someone pledged $75 before the $60 and 65 were added but missed switching they are still offered the EB price.

I see what you are saying. And maybe it is clear for someone who has been following the kickstarter all along. But it is not clear if you go to the kickstarter and read the front page, which is what I did after reading about lower pledges opening up. Anyway, thanks for clarifying.

Okay, so they've created a new "Super Box Pledge". It's $110, comes with the game, 100 metal coins (instead of 60), 8 canvas bags (instead of 2), 4 White Sails minis (instead of 1), 4 Spawn of Kobolos minis (instead of 0) and every stretch goal ship in the next set which the base box pledge won't get. This totals about $50+ worth of add-ons.

They also decided to be extremely generous and give this offer to EB backers so they wouldn't lose their coveted slots and you just have to add $35 to your pledge without changing levels to upgrade to the new reward set. So if you have $60-$65 slot, it's only $95-$100 for all the extra goodies ::D:

Jump on in, guys and gals! They've got a captain pledge up now for under $800 that lets you make your own captain, spell, and tech cards plus you get one of everything you need to play in the game and the beta game is mailed to you early to play test! You'll have to act fast, I've got one captain, a second is gone, and one is left. But you can always add more and have your own ship join the fleet!
