Apparently they've decided to use Troll Forged for the models. Does anyone know if Ed has managed to get any of the backlog of projects done? Just have to say that this announcement worries me since the last thing I recall was that he still hadn't even finished his own project.

and has been supplying them with stuff for their regular lines too

First, they are thinking about making oversized versions of the ships (approximately 6" long) and dragon (8" tall), and possibly kickstarting them in the future.

 

Second, and of possible interest to some of the artistic types around here, they apparently had a rather substantial price increase from the studio doing their card art, and are looking for artists willing to work cheap ($50 per illustration). The lastest "board of directors" basically just "fired" the guy who was for free fixing the rule book, taking care of most of the communication, and organizing production. There has been no official regarding the latest developments or really any official word of substance at all since January.

In theory the miniatures from the project are already in production by Trollforge with all the masters made and some/most of the molds made as of the end of January, there hasn't really been any evidence of it though.

Yes, this is a bummer.  Well, if it ever does come through I'll count it as a surprise.  Otherwise, it's my first unfulfilled project (with some old ones still pending).

I file this one in the same category as Tome of Horrors and the D&D Documentary. I will be amazed if I ever get what I paid for from them.

 

I prefer to focus my energy on the 60+ more positive Kickstarters I have backed.
