Well, I just today stated up Kaladrax for Rules Cyclopedia D&D, and I'll be doing some more over the next couple of weeks.

Looks good for the original metal Kaladrax. I think for the Bones version around 100 hit dice might be more appropriate. :)

Mates, i know it something unusual, but i'm trying to gather information and suggestions here, and seems like it's going a little OT.

The Kaladrax stats for Rules Cyclopedia are really well done, but what i was talking was an entire stat list. I have enough D&D manuals to find the stats for each monsters, but there's a difference. Having a dedicated stat list allows to consider the miniatures as "tokens of a game".

First you need to fix on a rules system.

Then you need to actually be bothered doing up the stats for the 200+ figures coming in the standard vampire pledge (including npc's)... and the optionals...

me personally, they'll be for my D&D games (anywhere from basic to 4th Ed) so I won't bother stat'ing up until I actually need them.

Nowadays my games are on Savage Worlds, and my previously played skirmish and crawl were gamed with that system.

The stats are actually already setted in some "monster manuals" for most of the character, and one of the reasons made me think of SW is the fact that preparing the stats of a monster is easier than in D&D.

I would bother to do them, but it would be good (great!) to cooperate to whoever might be interested.

Was he intentionally powered down from a Huge Red?

Yes. I figured that since Hyrekia can bring him back with a touch, and what I think will end up being a Con and/or XP loss, the chances that players will have to face him more than once.

If you can post a few examples, it might be easier to get others to help. It would one, give them an idea of what you are looking for, two, provide some sort of uniform format, and three, push the ball along. :)

Yess boss ;) I'll talk with some friend this evening and will post something tomorrow ^^

My only concern is about copyright: the stats of the monsters are into some manuals, and this might be a problem if i use them for a public stat card deck, no?

Copyright, in the US at least, is a very complex subject for game rules.

It's not clear to me whether a rules description of a particular creature would constitute "... the method or methods for playing" the game, an "...idea, system, method, device, or trademark material involved in developing, merchandising, or playing a game", or if it "...contains a sufficient amount of literary or pictorial expression" to be copyrightable.

BTW, talk to a lawyer if this is a serious issue for you.

That said, there's not much point in reprinting text from a manual verbatim. A given person will either have that manual himself or will probably be uninterested in seeing the details for a game he does not own. For things like that, just publish the reference.

Yeah, but many of these are classic D&D monsters, so to make up stats for Savege Worlds would fall under copyright, unless they are under the OGL, in which case it's all fair game. Also, if I understand right, it's perfectly fine to show the stats for something such as Yonder Girffon, if such exisyts in Savage Worlds, so long as you are giving proper credit to the owners of said copyright.

Song of Blades and Heroes is supposed to be coming out with a stat list for everything in the kickstarter.

I absolutely love this game. Cheap and efficient table top skirmish rules. Do you have a reference that you can link to support that?

"As per my agreement with Reaper, I am to produce a ready-to-play free PDF using images from the figures."
