Do they take it away from you every year? Or do you just keep it in the car? I ask because I plan to attend RCon next year, and I'd like to evaluate my chances of becoming a back-alley pinata.

*many days after RCon 2014*

"Hey, how come I never see Buglips post anymore?"

Ladystorm: "No idea. None at all. Too, bad, too. I liked him." Just stick to the story. Nobody suspects anything. Now everything will stay on topic. Just keep cool, stick to the script.

First I've seen of this video. Finally a first look yay!

Did I hear right that the size of Kallys was a mistake? It was to be 11" long but the manufacturer understood it to be 11" tall.

I do wish the videographer had spent less time on the artists nameplates and more time integrating with the artists/sculptors themselves.

Overall though, thanks muchly for the video! ::):

Some pics are up! Check 'em out (be warned the Metal Trade In folder has pics of the Bella Succubus at the bottom; artistic nudity, possibly NSFW). The link goes to my Photobucket (made for this purpose!).

I am sure certain someone's here will be jealous of my 38 new mouselings (counting the space ones not yet photo'd). Yes, bask in my reflected glow of cute tin! And yes, I traded in metal for mouselings. My wife was quite happy with that trade. :D

The things I see in the metal trade-in! ::o:

I might not be allowed to go near that. I'll hover over the table when people drop stuff off, and then intervene. Why? Why are you trading this in? This is a mint condition 1992 Ral Partha, and you're just going to trade it in? Just like that? What's wrong with you?

Will do! Just submitted an entry I finished here entitled, "Buglips, for milking THAT GUY"

Where the heck to you find the time to paint up all those awesome entries!?!? Seriously that's like a years worth of painting for me.

What you see with "The Veteran" and "Brought the Wrong Keys" is the culmination of 2+ months of planning, building, and re-planning. I'm really pleased with how they did considering it was my first time in a show. Next year's goal is to bump from silvers to golds.

Sadly, the pictures that were going live on the Reaper site aren't doing a lot of people's work justice. They were having some lighting issues which were washing out some stuff, and causing other stuff to come across too dark. Poor Kit was having to work on some coding issues from last year instead of enjoying himself.

A lot of people approached me at random about my 'Keys' entry and had really positive things to say so I'd definitely say that the awesome community of people we have on the forums is echoed by the people I met at ReaperCon. I can't state enough times what a positive experience this was and what great people the folks at Reaper are.

Not attending this con is doing yourself an injustice.

Going 3/3 in medals was mind-blowing and I'm still in a bit of a haze from it all, however the highlight of the show for me was when Derek Schubert came over to shake my hand and congratulate me.

The Reapercon Auction netted my wife and I a Carnivale Sophie Clock (awesome sauce) and a copy of Edition Wars signed by the makers (or designers, something cool, anyway). This is an added bonus, 'cause I was gonna buy a copy of it anyway. Yay!

It was surprisingly tame, compared to what I've heard of past auctions (and I overheard several people offering the same opinions). Next year, I plan on taking my adorable daughter to beg Reaper Bucks off of folks. It worked for a few kids this year.

Also, the DYOM went for as little as 900 RB! What a steal! I think people were waiting for the Vampire Packs (6 auctioned off) and the paint sets (one full MSP, one full HD, and two sets of the new paints (rather, one each of the four new sets, twice). A Martin Jones painted Kally went up, as did an unassembled Nethy and C'thulhu.

It was fun, I look forward to next year. When I come back with reinforcements (we may need to caravan instead of carpool...).
