I am finding more and more that I need a heavy machine - such as a bulldozer - to force my hand to move to click on yet another link to another Kickstarter, as my hand is already weighed down with the memory of a thousand-thousand Kickstarters.

 

But in this case, it is many times more egregious because you linked to the comments page. So instead of seeing some cool art or pics jumping off the page to excite my poor, worn out and frankly no-longer-impressed jaded eyes, instead there is a long stream of whining and disgruntlement.

 

Might want to fix it. I would link to the ACTUAL Kickstarter myself, but I am worn out now.

There is certainly a bit of a glut at the moment. I'm currently backing this, but not sure I'll stick through it till the end. However, I know there are people interested in the supers genre so thought I'd post it here.

They really need to proofread this a lot more thoroughly as some of it reads pretty clumsily. Take this description of Rage: "Born a long time ago, Rage has a problem with authority and slice in half anybody who bothers him.Still, he fights for a society just where the weak is not oppressed buy the strong."

 

I think the upper tier levels for getting to design a hero of your own seem way overpriced as well. $3,000 (or $4,000 if you want the character based on yourself) seems far too high to attract much interest.

 

That being said I hope that this does well and will be keeping an eye on the project as I think there's a lot of scope for more super hero miniatures.

OK, now that you've said that, I can see it by looking at the little banner pictures for each level. I still don't think I could reach that conclusion by reading the text descriptions of the levels. I think the whole "+2 Superheroes" thing threw me.

Project Update #73: The Aqua-Warriors Stretch Goal, and Upgraded Dice!

 

Our backers exceeded the $120k Stretch Goal that includes Aquarion, but we didn't make the $130k Stretch Goal that included his personal commando body guards.

 

But it just didn't feel right to us to send Aquarion out to face his enemies without his elite strike squad. So we've decided that the Aqua-Warriors are going to be included for anyone who pledged $160 or more, just as if the project had made that stretch goal. This is our belated Christmas gift to our backers.

Holy Hell!!  I'm not familiar with this project but daaaaaayum that's bad. Fifteen cent Heroclix figs are infinitely better. Makes me *REALLY* happy I decided not to back Zombie 15.
