Maglok
I gotta side with the people that think the update was too late. I can see the issue, but why do we just hear now? New questions arise: What is china's timetable on delivering the rest so everything can be shipped? Of course there is not a maximum time left, but I would appreciate at least the minimum time. We ordered with some people and I have been relaying the info and they are growing a bit desperate (some of them want to use some minis as PCs in campaigns that have now started for two months, etc.) Good start with the info, now please give us some actual facts as to timetable. :) Thanks in advance! ShadowRaven
Okay, there is far too little anger and capslock messages, so far. Something I aim to set right. HOW DARE YOU BE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!!! naponatom
Now that I know that this will take some time... I wonder if they allow me to improve my pledge (there some extra paints and Kallys I want...).=)
eriochrome
I think it was only yesterday in this thread that I suggested that the way they were shipping indicacted that they did not have the options only minis. I do not really give them credit for the mister bones not being part of the vampire set and waiting for that to start shipping. Logistically it is a poor way to go with 1 per order at vampire or above as opposed to 1 per vampire. Any savings from not having them go out to some extra sets is more than spent in the labor or having to hand add them to like 17000 sets.

THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!!!SHIPPING DELAYS RESULTING IN CATCHING YOUR BREATH BECAUSE YOU WORK SO HARD, INCONCEIVABLE I think ShadowRaven is actually Fenwick's ghost...or his reincarnation...INCONCEIVABLE!!! I applaud Reaper for waiting to have more information, though I would have welcomed a "Hey, we're waiting on somethings but can't tell you until we know more." kind of message. Reaperbryan
I imagine Reaper, having limited storage space, was hoping for shipments from China to come in one end while they shipped everything they could out the other. Unfortunately, the Chinese shipments haven't kept up. That was in fact our goal. Not everything has gone as smoothly as we had expected. Two things - One, I'm amazed at the patience and support the backers of this KS have. Most other KS would be receiving death threats about now. You say this as if you think we haven't... This does raise a couple questions. Not trying to be mean here, but how many shipments do we have to wait for before reaper has everything? The fact that they didn't have everything came as a bit of a shock since I was under the impression that they had everything and was shipping it out based on complexity, not based on availability. IMHO this update should have been sent out in the beginning when they started shipping , not when they have run out of stuff to ship. Needless to say, I am a little irritated. I can only imagine how furious a lot of people might be at the moment. The other question is, what is the status of the second wave? Is it on the boat at sea? In customs? On a truck on its way to Denton? I understand your frustration. Believe me, I want as badly as you do to be done with all of this, and be able to go back to my day-to-day. As for the second wave - It is in Customs, and release from there is never predictable. Forgive me if I don't share too much, because I don't want to mislead people into expecting something that is not true. I gotta side with the people that think the update was too late. I understand. We have tried to share relevant information - and frankly, we had hoped this shipment would be cleared sooner so that the wait time would be "invisible". We clearly made an error in that regard, and I apologize.
ShadowRaven
I for one am just glad that now we know what is what. I feel bad for the people who are waiting, except for the angry ones, they need to be made to wait for more stuff more often, until they learn to get over themselves. The rest though, I wish there was some way to speed things up, but life is what it is, and it happens as it happens. Bryan, don't feel bad. You guys have done well thus far, and if it weren't for delays outside your control none of this particular dissapointment would be happening. It certainly is not Reapers fault.
jlblack
So, basically, we're seeing an example of what motivated one of the reasons for the Kickstarter (or, at least, one of the results made possible by the Kickstarter) - shifting production to the US. As one of those brought into mini-hoarding by this Kickstarter, I just want to say that not only am I fine with waiting a bit longer, I also want to say I hope the headaches of this Kickstarter don't discourage Reaper from doing another. I'm sure they've already begun to make notes, mental or otherwise, about what to do the next time around to avoid the wailing and gnashing of teeth. I look forward to being a continuing customer, regardless.

Indeed! I look forward to the day when all of our order fulfillment delays are caused by everyday Domestic Incompetence, just as they were for most of my career here! pcktlnt
Thank you for the update. Hmm, I guess I shall reconsider buying those paint kits.
Erifnogard
I figured this was what was going on. Still, all things considered Reaper is still ahead of the curve for most of the Kickstarters I have backed which is pretty amazing considering how many orders they are fulfilling. Thanks for the update Bryan, hang in there!
