Thanks for the update, we know you are all doing your best and are as frustrated with the delays as we are.

You have our support and appreciation, just keep us fed with juicy tidbits on progress and we'll be well behaved little critters. 8)

Here's my question - the update says, "Now we're waiting on shipment two from China. These containers include many of the larger add-ons."

Many. Shipment Two. I just worry that we will see the next shipment come in, get sent out, and then play the waiting game while shipment three heads over. We don't know how many orders are left to fulfill, or indeed how many shipments there are remaining. Not that this information would ultimately change anything, but it would still be nice to have.

Indeed. It's not like I expect a timetable at all, but I would appreciate some more information.

Do you have enough plain vampire sets for everyone already? Or will you get more shipments of those too?

How many shipments do you expect in total?

Are all the minis in production, or will some need even longer?

How much is on the water?

Is Reaperbryan really a robot in disguise?

How fast did shipping go when you were shipping pre-Reapercon?

And so on and so forth. There's lots of small tidbits us backers would find interesting, even if it's really of no use to us.

So now you know how you can fill your days! Write us updates on kickstarter so we feel like stuff is happening, it's not like there's anything else to do without Bones to ship. Right?

IMHO this update should have been sent out in the beginning when they started shipping , not when they have run out of stuff to ship. Needless to say, I am a little irritated. I can only imagine how furious a lot of people might be at the moment.

The other question is, what is the status of the second wave? Is it on the boat at sea? In customs? On a truck on its way to Denton?

Why? Why would they send this out at the start? If that other stuff had come in when they expected it, shipping would have continued and we'd have been none the wiser. We didn't need to know before now, and knowing now isn't going to make the waiting time any less. Shipping has stalled, they told us about it and they've told us why.

Given what we know about the overall quality of Reaper's customer service, I'd say there's no-one more disappointed about this than the folk at Reaper.

Well, we received a kickstarter update today. I'm happy for the communication. BTW...I searched on Reaper Vampire level on Ebay and folks are selling their Vampire packs in the $200 to $250 range.

Welp, guess I'm not getting my Bones before I head back home for the summer. To the Pledge Manager!

(That said, it's great to hear some news, and that this "delay" comes from being actually ahead of schedule.)

That's not exactly true. It is delayed because the shipment was delayed. All being ahead of schedule caused was making it easy for people to notice that it was delayed, since it made the gap in shipping more obvious.

Ok I am just throwing ideas out here and playing devil's advocate.

The timetable of shipments must have been scheduled during or soon after the kickstarter, but shiippng taking months was nowhere mentioned in the kickstarter, just one word: march. Was march through june or july always the shipping timetable? This was my first kickstarter and I would have liked to know.

Are all the vampire boxes in stock? Could they be shipped alone to all backers, with an add-on box to follow, or is that too expensive or impractical?

When will US production of these minis begin? Could we get the US version instead, if the slow boat to china takes forever, or as an exchange/upgrade?

That was the estimate. Most kickstarters are usually behind about 3-4 months before they start shipping. I've backed over thirty and I took March to mean June for the first shipments so the fact they started (all be it only a few) in March is quite impressive. Most don't get this volume of backers so I can't really comment on how long shipping goes for as most only have a few hundred and only take about a month.

1) No that wasn't always the plan. Back in October, prior to any issues, Reaper had this to say "My job is to have everything promised in the KS into everyone's hands during, or before, March 2013." Things do happen though.

2) I've gotten the impression that they have them all but I can't really say. The cost would definitely be up there though. Depending on how much is still outstanding it could easily turn their current small profit into a lose.

3) The stuff from china will be here before anything in quantity is made here. Even without having read anything official in that regard I can say that with confidence. All the current molds say "made in china" they'll need to be retooled to use here (and they are also still in china).

Based on the increase in shipping costs I would say that it would be decidely impractical and expensive to continue to ship single vampire boxes to people that have vampires plus other add-ons.

Not necessarily an update saying there would be a delay, but considering they had said they were not going to ship anything until they had everything in hand, when they begun shipping it should have been mentioned that they didn't have everything. I'm not questioning reapers customer service, or complaining about the delay itself. But when I'm sitting here spamming the F5 key on my inbox waiting for a shipment notice, that they know isn't going to be going out because they don't have the product yet. That's where things get a little iffy and an update telling us they were not going to be able to ship larger orders between such and such date should have been considered. I don't mind waiting, but when I'm sitting here thinking that I could ship any moment, when in reality it's not, that's where I was disappointed.
