Dibblers workbench.

I didn't get the PC done for D&D, but all the basecoats were done!  ^_^ Started work on the treasure pile, got some basecoats going, and started picking out the coins in ancient gold

Thanks!  ^_^ The texture is simply pulling pieces out of the foam - on one side by plier on the other by hand (and exacto cuts).

I should hear if the wargaming club want some - and have myself a marathong make-hills-session outside when the spring comes  :upside:

Wow, impressive bit of scenery I must say. Very cool textures, mine always end up looking like I cut them with an exacto :P

I'm in luck - as we generally don't know how foam looks when ripped apart ;)

Dibbler, I'm trying to remember... Was if you that made that custom SDE tile set out of foam board? Is there a link to that somewhere?

What do you use to seal the foam prior to painting (or do you?)

That wasn't me :/

I didn't seal anything, only applied a generous base coat of cheap acrylics :)

Got some droppers - no more tipping those darn washes over! Also tidied up the workbench (and assembled some beasts. That cyclops.. Assembly ARGH!)

So, been painting up the cyclops and gladiator. Time has constantly been a problem, AMIGOD needs finish before next game!, which has ment few updates here :/

I'll throw up a bunch of pics of the finished Skorne soon :)

Know what you mean about time! Keeping my fingers crossed you get your stuff done in time for your game, keep up the great work.

I am really lucky, and get to borrow models. So a lot of the pressure comes from myself ;) Thanks! :)

Most of a Skorne Battlebox for WarmaHordes is finished! :) A lot of fun, but I slipped into thinking more about the end result than enjoying myself. That won't usually lead to neither nice minis, nor having fun. Perhaps the time pressure of "I want to field my OWN gladiator" isn't so bad after all :)

The last cyclops is assembled. I figured that some GS-ing was necessary no matter what - so why not get that sword where I want it? And less overhang! Both cyclopsi have a lot of brass rod in them! I wonder how much brass rod you'd need for the figure to qualify as metal xD

Perhaps I'll do a show off with these guys, taking more time to photograph, when they are all done :)

And some speed painting cheap dwarfes. Because sanity, fun and SBH  :bday:
