Some people do not use painted minis. Although I've found that the heathens convert rather nicely when introduced to properly painted minis on a regular basis.

I did regret that li'l Mister Bones was not in the Vampire box; it is my understanding he will be shipped in the future.

Never have seen the problem with weapon straightening. Just boil the mini for a short time, then clamp the weapon between two popsicle sticks, add clothespin to hold, and dunk in ice water and leave it there for a minute or so.

...?

You mean, your order had an error and Reaper will make it up, right? Because I've seen Mr. Bones in other peoples' Vampire package. He was supposed to ship with.

I imagine it differs if the box was picked up at Reapercon.

Remember, unless you ordered extra, you're only supposed to get one Mr. Bones per order, regardless of how many Vampires you ordered. So while he's included in the box for the people who were single Vampire, that's likely because the Reaper folks opened the box and stuck him in.

Actually, I don't think that Mr Bones is part of Vampire as I believe it was one Mr Bones per pledge (beyond a certain pledge level). I suspect that he was just tucked inside the Vamp box for those orders that were shipped but wasn't added to the Vamps that were picked up at ReaperCon.

Edit: oops, Ninjad by Jack

That's an interesting theory, because I picked up my box at ReaperCon and there was no Mr. Bones in it. I wasn't going to make a fuss because it was just one figure, but it would make me happy to hear that he's coming with the rest of my stuff.

If you get it in the mail, he's in the shipping box, but not in the white Vampire box. He's just sitting loose (in a baggie) in the shipping box, and I wouldn't be surprised if some people fail to notice him there.

I've got a friend who has gone crazy over the pre-painted ones they did for D&D and Pathfinder. He's gotten tons of the damn things off Ebay, insists that we use the right fig for the right monster for every encounter

Gives me dirty looks whenever I just grab something the right size and say "Close enough"

they are ok but you just can't beat a nicely hand painted fig.

That has really been driven home as I'm painting my Bombshell figs. Delzira isn't even finished yet and she is hands and above better looking than most of the pre-painted ones.

Very much looking forward to my Vampire set. Been planning to make a whole campaign using nothing but the new Figs.

It'll make him happy knowing I'm using the right mini for each encounter.
