What do you regret?

I'm mildly regretting my only add-on, There Be Dragons, because otherwise I'd probably have my Bones by now. However, I know that I'll love them when they come, so it's really more of a temporary regret. I'm also slightly regretting getting the paints through the KS, since I can't justify buying more + more Bones to practice on while I'm waiting. But, still can't beat the deal I got on them. :D

As for getting more add-ons, I was really tempted, but then I realized that a) they aren't likely to get used all that often, b) where the heck would I even put Kali or Cthulu, and c) money was a bit tight at the time.

So overall I'm happy and my regrets are only minor ones that will be resolved when my pledge arrives. :)

Huzzah!

I should have gone for all four paint sets instead of two. But, at that time, I had no idea how to paint and, well, did not know what I was going to get into. The big K might have been nice, come to think of it, I don't have the space nor the skills to handle that beast. Giants would have been nice though, and the hydra. Other than that, I'm quite happy with what I'm anxiously waiting for ;)

In terms of time, Kally may prove a handful. In terms of difficulty, I think he might turn out to be one of the easiest Bones in the whole package. He's big, but pretty simple.

Now that little forces of nature tree golem looking thing? Now that dude is gonna be a pain in the butt barnacles.

I regret that I didn't study physics in university. If I did, perhaps I would have created a time machine andi could jump to the future to get all my bones.

Other than that, I am pretty happy about my choice in getting almost everything in the line.

I regret going to baseball practice that one day in grade 6 or 7....

(I'm fairly certain the damage to my shoulder was caused by the bike accident I had on the way there that day. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to paint my Bones much faster without that damage. On the other hand, I don't regret landing on my shoulder. It sure beats if I'd landed on my head. This was back in the days before bike helmets....)

I also kind of regret only getting one Big-K. If I'd known how big he was I'd have gotten another one that I could mount on a hat or a shoulder harness or something.

And I should have got about 4 more Wyrmgears. But then, I didn't know Stonehaven was going to be making Gnomes back then.

I regret not getting more Cthulhus. I had thought at the time to get multiples as I've got a couple of friends who love him so thought I'd paint one up for them but I decided to leave them at the time and pick them up later. Not sure I will now, thankfully never mentioned it to them!

I regret not getting any paint (Damn you Salazar!) and another Nethyrmaul to use both as a bookends.

Also I regret (not now, but perhaps later and in a big way) pledging with all my friends to save in shipping. I fear those US$25,00 saving will come back to bite me in the nuts when my Custom Agency look at 4 Vampires, plus 3 cases and 4 or 5 of each add-on including the big ones and says: " WHAT? US$ 100,00 for all this? BWAHAHAHAHA! This has to be a fraud!" and then ask for more money that I could think in spend in miniatures...

And I can´t even show them the bill to justify the value...

I imagine if you were to email Reaper they could provide you with a receipt that you could use for customs.

I kind of want to see someone paint that thing up as a broccoli monster... ::P:

Great....now I've got the "Chopping Broccoli" song stuck on my head.

I regret not ordering a Reaper Learn to Paint Kit a lot sooner. The Bones Kickstarter is my first forray into miniatures, and I only realized how much technique is actually involved in painting them in the last couple weeks as I've spent more time on the Reaper forums. My LTPK is supposed to show up in the mail tomorrow, so at least I can finally get started on that.
